Double Check Return Shipping Policy

The product itself was good, but it was way too big for my space and had to return it. I bought the lamp thinking I was getting free return shipping. I assumed when it said 'Sold and Shipped by Walmart' that I could simply return it to a Walmart store. However, that wasn't the case, and I had to return it to the seller. So before purchasing clarify that return shipping is free, as the shipping costs to return it were over half the cost of the product. With tax I paid $242.39 for the product and the shipping to return it was $133.67 with FedEx. When I went to UPS, who was going to charge $160.00, they suggested I contact the company to see if they would issue a return label at my cost, as most companies get a shipping discount. However, that was not their policy. I also noticed that the store from where I bought it, OJ Commerce, is in Florida, but I had to return it to a California address. The UPS worker and the FedEx worker both said that this happens a lot with companies. They both thought it was to discourage people from returning, as it increases the shipping costs. Whether that's true or not I don't know, but had it been delivered to FL the cost would have been half of what I paid to ship it across the country to CA. So be absolutely sure that you're getting free return shipping if that's something that you're wanting. Also the panels of glass that look off white in the picture are actually quite stark white. So take that into consideration when purchasing. It's not as warm looking as it is in the picture when not lit.
