Very pretty lamp: Nice and bright, but a floppy hinge

I don't understand the previous review, as there is the capability to turn individual lights on/off. It's the same switch, so perhaps that's where the confusion lies. I just turn the switch a few times until the light comes on. It might take a few clicks. For example, one click is the top light, the next click could be the little one, and the third click is both. I love this lamp because it has the capability to handle a BRIGHT bulb. The top light can handle 150 Watts. I have a high ceiling, so this is helpful. Finally...it's very pretty!

Pros:

I think this is a vintage appealing floor lamp. However I wish the small shade had an individual switch. If so I'd purchase immediately!

I rated everything excellent except for quality, which is good, but the lamp shades are plastic rather than glass. However if they were glass, the lamp would have cost a lot more.

OK but not what I expected

This is a nice lamp and I will use it in the spare bedroom. However, it is plastic which was not what I had expected and it has the look of a cheaper quality lamp. I would only recommend it to be used in a room not easily accessed by your guests.

Lovely lamp

Nice lamp. Fills the bill in a dark corner of a Victorian decor guest bedroom. Sent with wrapping care and in a timely fashion.

Just had to leave a review on this Torch Floor lamp with the side light. Ok yes like other posts have mentioned; it's made in China, yes it only has a few crystal circles on the plastic not glass light fixture but this floor lamp design is beautiful and much nicer than some of the tiffany lamps we looked at! It was very very easy to assemble and the phillips LED 60 watt bulbs work nicely in both the top and side fixture. The top lamp takes a max of 100 watts and the side lamp takes 40 watts max. The 60 watt LED bulb converts to much less for both.

We just received two lamps we ordered for our sun-room. I suggest that you open and assemble outdoors. The styrofoam packing box sheds all over.

Well worth the money

This is a very well made lamp, a little pricey but I think worth it. I have 2 spiral watt saver light bulbs in it and it lights my whole living room with only one on. I love it.

Tiffany Floor Lamp

I wanted this lamp because it is not only high quality for the money but also it gives great lighting for both the room and for reading, with the side lamp. I now have two of these lamps and I am thinking of buying a third. Installation was very simple and the base has a cloth like cover that does not scratch my newly installed wood floors. I highly recommend this lamp.

I don't know what I did before I had this lamp. Not only does it add a lot of light, and with options, it is beautiful. It is elegant without being gaudy, solid and well made. People ask where I got it and seemed stunned when I say Home Depot. Thank you!

Beautiful, sturdy, well made!

A beautiful addition to our living room...makes me happy whenever I walk into the room. Very well made, substantial, won't tip over. Gorgeous colors, and functions well. Only problem is I wish the switch was at lower level so I wouldn't have to stand up to turn it off/on... but I still love it!

Great lamp

I just received my lamp....quick delivery, packed super good. Very pretty..just love it. For the price this lamp far shines the other lamps I had looked at.
