does not fit Mansfield toilets

the hinges are overengineered, and don't secure the seat at all... think slip n slide! the seat does not stay up because of where the hinges are located, making the angle too great for the seat to achieve 90°. does not fit my specific Mansfield toilet.

Broken In the floor

The toilet seat doesn’t appear to be cheaply made. However, I believe it has too many moving parts on it. It is really hard to get it tight. And then when you think you have it tight, the brackets twist sideways on you. After a couple of days like this, the connectors to the screws just pop off. Then your seat and yourself end up on the floor. In other words, mine broke completely. I do not recommend this. I’m only 180 pounds. I do not think it should have just broke apart like that. I would not take a chance on it. Buyer beware!

What can I say?? Simple install, soft close seat & lid, solid and comfortable. Also, reasonably priced.

This looks good if you can get it installed and staying in place. I have installed tens of toilet seats by myself with no problems. This keeps on detaching itself and slipping of the toilet.

Not good, always pops out of holders. Can't tighten so that it will stay popped in place, will have to super glue to keep it on toilet.

Some black surface chipped almost right away

Within a week of install it had a small chip near inside ring. Now it’s a white dot there. Can’t imagine how it would have happened.

Disappointed with the fit for a standard seat.

The quality of the wood and the color is beautiful. However, the seat was supposed to fit a standard toilet. Once installed, it left at least an inch of the porcelain exposed at the front of the toilet bowl.

This was not what I ordered !

This is not what I ordered the one I ordered was from the purchases I bought before and it said buy again. The one it displayed had antique gold hardware metal. The one they sent had silver plastic hardware with a soft close I was bad but my husband had it on before I could look at it so I had to keep it. Ugh
