Love it! I expected the darker stripe to be a navy blue (my mistake) and it is a purple. I can work with that, just a heads up if you are looking for a blue element. Other than that, the weight is a mid to light weight cotton and the background a cream. Perfect for our guest room.

It’s different and I love it!

I liked it from a picture. I liked it even better when I could see and touch it. It’s crisp and clean looking, basically a neutral that you can use any color with. I decided to use a handful of colors….two different blues, gold, orangish red. I love that it is machine washable and dryable. Dry cleaning is expensive. It’s light weight so you may need a blanket for the winter. For the summer, it is perfect. I also bought a smaller size. Out of it I made a valance, a lid cover and bath mat, and a nice size throw! As I said…I love it!

I like to change my bedroom from fall/winter to spring/summer. I just wanted to change bedding, not everything in the room. This ruffled quilt fits right in with what’s already there. It’s nicely finished and generous in size. So many quilts and comforters are barely big enough. And once they are washed, they are too small, not a nice look. Designers took size as important. It is. Now I hope they make a matching throw that I can make a window treatment out of. I made a beautiful valance out of a pillow sham. Everyone thinks I paid a company to do it. Nope, just me!

This is a re-order. I bought this set about six years ago. I had international students at the time, and wanted something to liven their bedrooms. When one of my students was about to return home, he asked if he could take the quilt to remember us by. There’s not a lot to say other than that for him the set represented the fun he had at our house, his delight at having lived in our country, and how much he loved it. Well, we loved it too, so we ordered another one which arrived today. Even though we’ve moved, it really perked up our new bedroom like an old friend. Absolutely love it.

It's fantastic! Just what I was looking for. The colors look brighter than the pictures show and offers a nice pallette to work with for splashes of accent color. I got a king size for my queen bed and it's plenty long enough that I don't need a dust ruffle. It's heavier than expected so with an extra blanket I think it will work fine for winter. The only complaint is that the colored strips show through the white where they're sewn together. Even my man appreciates how nice it looks.

summer comfort

I was looking for a lighter weight bed cover for the summer. This quilt looks exactly as pictured, is the perfect weight for summer, and will go with any color room. It fits well on my king sized bed. My husband even likes it. I am tempted to get the all white ruffle set for my quest room. The price was very reasonable. I am so happy with this purchase. Update: The ruffles start to come loose after some washings. Rather than sew the loose ruffles back on, I just purchased another kind of comforter without ruffles.
