Great Lamp!
Wasnt sure what to expect with a build it yourself lamp, but I did it in about 25-30 minutes and it was extremely easy. Im a bit of a lampshade snob and figured Id just buy a good shade but this one is surprisingly nice. This is well worth the money!!
We loved it so much we bought 3!
Beautiful lamp that offers great lighting. Its easy to put together and really sturdy / well made. We loved the first lamp we bought so much that we ordered two more exactly like it.
Perfect Blend of style + affordability!
I am absolutely thrilled with this floor lamp! It has completely transformed the look of my room, giving it a high-end, sophisticated feel without breaking the bank.
Better Than Expected
It was all there and the end result was better than expected. It was super easy to put together and actually fun. (even had extra screws etc for each section so that was very thoughtful. I wasn't expecting much but it actually looks great. Very happy with this purchase. I would recommend.
Great look and price!
This is a great, inexpensive (I've seen similar lamps at furniture stores for over $200). The leg segments are precision cut. They packages remind you not to separate the pieces. Each pack of 3 is a single unit. But they go together seemlesly. I love the look. The lamp shade is high quality. And assembly is very easy. all the hardware, with spares, are provided. With simple instructions. It also puts out a great amount of light. I would purchase again. Also quick note. Mine had a broken light socket, but Amazon sent a replacement next day. So a big thank you to both. Top marks!
Cute Lamp!
This is a cute lamp! I'm giving it four stars because the shade is a little 'iffy' - it's a little wavy if you look too close. I've ordered another lamp shade from Pottery Barn and I think that will make a huge difference. I'm glad I bought this lamp at such a great price!
Terrific Product
This is one of the best packaged products we have purchased.
Great quality and value!
These lamps are lovely and add a nice touch to any room. I love them! I have bought 4 of these lamps now because two of my daughters both wanted one after seeing mine! The foot switch on/feature is very convenient. Oh and the shipping was SUPER fast!!
The tripod design fits nicely with the the living room theme. The set up was easy but screwing the screws to the light bulb base was a bit tricky. You need to have the sticks at the right angle to screw tightly. The lamp top fabric arrived folded which was strange. You have to snap it to a metal wire. ItĄŻs not a perfect snap around and May have imperfections if not done tightly. Overall satisfied with the buy and it treated my pocket well.
These are great lamps for the price. However, the buyer should be aware that you need to put together the lampshade. And. . . the shades are not the best. Some of the tiny white clips on the metal frame that attaches the shade fabric broke off. Therefore leaving slight buckles in the shade itself. I was able to turn the shade so that you can't see the buckles. The other thing that you don't see in the product images, is that the cord hangs down from the top, (middle), of the lamp. I'm going to get some dark ties or velcro to attach the cord to a leg so that you can't see it. The Manufacturer might consider adding ties to the product packaging so that the images are not misleading.
My wife and I spent hours traveling to Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s and countless other stores hunting for a floor lamp. We almost pulled the trigger on a “just ok” one at Home Depot, but then I stumbled across this one on Amazon, at half the price of what I was going to spend at Home Depot! It comes in a shockingly small delivery box considering the size of the assembled lamp. It’s easy to assemble, took my wife and I may 10 minutes. The bolts that go from the legs to the socket are a little finicky when you’re trying to align the holes, but with patience they eventually fall into place.Several other reviewers mention the ugliness of the cable. However, I just used a few pieces of electrical table and ran the cable down a non-visible side of one of the legs. Looks clean and you can’t even see the tape on the wood finish. The only down side is that we ordered the Walnut finish, and it looks much more like a dark cherry brown. We couldn’t been sent the wrong one, but it’s definitely not Walnut. However, it’s still a very nice wood finish and fits in with our living room decor.Highly recommend!
I like this lamp a lot! It look really nice in my living room and didn't break the bank (~$60). While I wouldn't call it "sturdy", as its hard for a three legged lamp to feel too secure (there's no cross bracing on the legs, they just each float there), it doesn't feel wobbly either. The legs appear to be solid wood and the hardware is pretty secure. The legs have to be screwed together from smaller segments when assembling, but they feel like one solid leg once full assembled (use a little bit of wood glue when assembling too for the ultimate hold). I wish that the switch wasn't a floor peddle (as shown in the photo), because I put it behind a chair, which makes it difficult to access the switch. Finally, the lamp shade did break some while assembling. One of the metal posts that connects to the outer lamp shade ring became disconnected (I'm not sure if they were welded or glued). I was trying to level the shade after installation and it broke rather easily. I tried to super glue to back, but it wouldn't hold. I've used a twist tie from the grocery store (you can't see it from anywhere in the room) to hold it in place, which isn't the biggest deal, but not ideal.
Nice little lamp. I got this one specifically because I needed something where the feet werenĄŻt sprawling all over, itĄŻs nicely compact at the bottom. ItĄŻs a fun challenge putting this together by yourself; itĄŻs not difficult, just takes some balance and finagling when attaching the legs to the lamp head.I noticed on several other reviews people had attached the lamp shade incorrectly, and some said there wasnĄŻt an anchor for it. Think about pointing the shade frame legs Ą°downĄą towards the floor. There is a white plastic piece attached to the lamp head that unscrews. If you take the white plastic piece off, then attach the frame, then screw the plastic piece back on, it holds the frame in place, no wobbling. When assembled correctly, you should not see the lamp frame visibly sticking out from the bottom.I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because you get what you pay for. ItĄŻs nice, but several of the places where the leg pieces attach are misaligned after screwing them together. ItĄŻs not a Ą°seamlessĄą leg look, you can see the gaps and misaligned wood. This may not bother some, but it is a design flaw that I believe deserved comment.
I wanted the tripod style floor lamp, hopefully with just the legs and no additional supports in between. I was worried about stability, but crossed my fingers and ordered. The lamp is very stable, and I have no concerns whatsoever about placing out in everyday use. It looks great! I wondered about an assemble-yourself lamp shade, but nothing to worry about here. The shade is easy to assemble and looks great. It's substantial and not at all lightweight. The braided cord is a nice touch. It has that older, retro feel and looks so much better than just a plain power cord trailing down. All in all, I am extremely happy with this lamp.
Given its modest price, this tripod lamp is a good value. Love the crisp gray shade. It went together smoothly and is not rickety but not altogether sturdy either. Great for a corner that needs light. I wouldn't recommend it to a family with children - too easy to turn over and wouldn't support a toddler's weight. My main concern is what to do with the dangling cord that wrecks it crisp look. Seller should have shown a picture including it. I think I will attach it to the bottom of one leg with a black zip tie.
I've only had it up for a few minutes, but so far so good.(1) Assembly: Pretty easy as far as furniture assembly goes. I assembled it myself without much trouble other than the shade (see below).(2) Cord: I purchased mine in Feb 2020 and got a brown cord. Some reviewers said they got a blue/white cord, but maybe that issue has been resolved.(3) Wood and overall unit feels sturdy, the color is even, and the wood is smooth. It'sprobably mdf put feels and looks nice for it. If it doesn't hold up to my toddler I will update.(4) I've seen in a few of the customer photos that the shades are assembled incorrectly. I got it wrong the first time, so I added a picture to help others with the shade assembly since I didn't find the instructions sufficient to assemble it properly. It *does* matter which direction the bottom rim is flipped (the part that fits around the light bulb socket). The best way I can describe it is for the metal arms of the bottom rim to be pointing downwards toward the floor. If you have it flipped the bottom of the socket will be exposed partially and look bad. The illustration shows this but it is such a slight detail that you can overlook it, and there is no written note to indicate which direction it should go.
I love this lamp. So much that I initially ordered two. Then I ordered a third later. And then about six months later I ordered a fourth because the large room I was using them in needed more light. They are easy to put together and super sturdy and I love the style. However when the fourth one arrived and I went to put it together there was some unexpected disappointment. It's still sturdy and easy to construct. It's the same color wood, with the same lampshade, the same height, all the same except in construction. The first three lamps had legs that came in two pieces connected with silver double-sided bolts. The latest one has legs that come in three pieces connected with black one-sided screws. The silver bolts mid-way through the legs are a minor detail, but I'm still not thrilled. I tucked the new lamp in a corner and I doubt anyone will really notice.....except me.
Purchased for living room. Fits decor style. Sturdy. Relatively simple assembly - took about an hour by myself. Creates a cozy feel to space, particularly on a rainy day. The only issues I discovered were that 1 hole on 1 of the legs was misaligned with its mate and 1 screw was "deformed" so the wrench wouldn't connect. There were 2-3 additional screws included so that wasn't a big deal and I was still able to connect the leg with the misaligned hole without trading off any sturdiness. Convenient floor/foot switch. If it matters, you just have to be creative about concealing the cord (mine is brown, btw).
I am quite pleased with this purchase and am glad to have listened to myself when the spirit hit me to buy. Sometimes reading negative reviews can diminish things, but when we listen within we become the exception. This lamp is a Mid-Century Charmer indeed. I love the rich color of the wood, how sturdy it is, and the overall quality of the legs and shade. It was simple to put together, and the color of the cord (made of a soft, yet durable fabric material) matches the body, so the blend is perfect. I plan to get a brighter bulb when the rain lifts, but even this basic 350 lumens bulb casts some nice light. I look forward to moving things around and rightly placing this beauty. Happy camper here in Oakland.
The lamp arrived and required assembly. The assembly was actually a relaxing no brainer. Quality hardware, wood color was an exact match as displayed online. Lamp shade must be put together and even that was almost enjoyable. Some complained about the cord hanging down the middle but IĄŻve included a photo of the footpedal and the cord. ItĄŻs a high-quality braided cord that almost matches the wood perfectly. You can always tell the quality of a product by the cord. This was a great purchase and IĄŻm very pleased with everything from the tidy packaging to the assembly and final product. I will probably end up buying a second one. IĄŻm using a cool light bulb I had laying around. I will swap it out for a warm or LED bulb.Disappointing update. ¨C I went ahead and ordered a second lamp. I was very disappointed to see that the second lamp has the blue and white cord others complained about. So now I have one lamp with a brown cord and one lamp with a blue and white striped cord. Disappointed.
