Beautiful Windmill

This is a beautiful windmill. I really like the size and it looks amazing when it’s spinning. Really impressed with the company as well. Had to contact Alpine customer service for a minor issue and they resolved it immediately. Very nice windmill, and fantastic service. I highly recommend both this product and the company. I’ve added a picture of the finished product.

I am returning it. Quality was poor for the price. The metal components were razor sharp and made assembly dangerous. Also was missing pieces and instructions were poor.

Not recommended

This was a great windmill. Within a year the ball bearings in the blade failed. No replacements anywhere. Under warranty company replaced windmill. 2nd one failed in about 20 month. Out of warranty. I don't recommend this this product. To expensive to fail that quick. I live in California. Our winds are rather mild.

Spinns well in a breeze, good value for the price

Cross brace lengths not the same (some off by ~ 1/8-3/16"), end loops required bending to fit. Tower footprint a bit small (to narrow).Fan bearing not protected from the weather (rain-show-dirt) with a cover on both sides. No tower bearing or weather protection (just open pipe in pipe). Tail could be a bit bigger (higher) in relation to the fan size.Fan is well made, ballanced, and spins freely in the breeze.This was my main concern.I am generally satisified with my purchase for the price. Hopefully it will last a few years.

Not so impressed

Cute. But very difficult to assemble. Changed all nuts and bolts to locking nuts and longer bolts. I expected a slightly heavier made frame but it is really lightweight. Requires stronger anchors in the ground so it wont tip. Have had it up a few days and already the fan wont turn. For the money I think it could have been sturdier and easier to assemble.
