The packaging could have been handle better. The rug was folded and it took so much time to undo the creases the folding caused in the rug. The color is lighter than expected, but over all, its usable for the the price point.

Warm and Cozy

I was concerned about the color. They are like a chocolate brown, which is what I wanted. They make my house look cozy and warm. I love them! I’m waiting for my new sectional sofa which is a beautiful tweed like fabric in a light taupe, which is going to look great with the rugs.

This rug is okay. I got the California version and it was rougher than this one. I like the length. I’m using for a bathroom runner. It doesn’t look like the pictures.

This is a nice comfortable shaggy rug that I purchased for the family room. It makes the room look cozy. Sometimes I just sit on the rug with the dog because she loves laying on it too. Great color and an overall great purchase.

Safavieh brand never disappoints!

I have purchased several Safavieh rugs over the years. Consistently high quality. This shag rug is incredibly thick and soft. Was rolled and folded in half and flattened out perfectly within 24 hours. Color was exactly as pictured.

FALL HAZARD

VERY STIFF RUG & SLIPPERY AS THE DICKENS! DANGERUS and can't use it, but nice looking and fairly well constructed. Size would have been perfect if it wasn't a slip and fall hazard, material is only fair.

Know What You Get

This is the 4th Safavieh rug I have ordered. Pros - The rug came well wrapped and protected. Pile was as described. Delivered before due date. Cons - the corners were slightly off in angle. I rolled the rug out and let it relax for a day. It flattened out fine but the corners are off and I tend to be exacting. I will be keeping the rug because I think I can work around it. Also be aware the rug is not an exact 8x10.

Different than pictures but a keeper

I like the carpet but I thought it would be softer and have a better cushion, but I could still feel the wood floor beneath my butt when I sat down. Also, the color mushroom didn’t match the pictures on the website. And it has a funny smell. But I do like how it matches my apartment so I’m going to keep it. And because the threads are actually many different colors, it hides dirt easily.

The rug itself, I love. It’s just what I had expected, I got this rug originally to go under our bed in our newly built home, and it didn’t disappoint. It is fluffy, comfy, and cream in color - not too white. The reason for the low rating is that the rug took FOREVER to get to us! It was the fault of FedEx, but Home Depot was of NO help. After we all thought It was lost through Fed Ex, we re-ordered, weren’t allowed a refund from Home Depot because FedEx said it was delivered, received the new rug in about a month of ordering, and the original finally showed up about 2 weeks later - 3 months from when originally ordered! First rug was wet, second rug was stained on the back, but we were able to salvage and use both. Beautiful rugs, but if you can, pick it up at the store.

Soft and durable rug

We've had this rug for 5 months and it's in a high traffic area (living room). It hasn't shed and the vacuum cleaner hasn't been pulling it apart. It's super soft. The other reviews are true in that it isn't a solid navy. It does have dark and light blue in it. It's a little bit of work to push the vacuum over it because it's so thick but it cleans up well. Overall it's a nice look and we like it. If you are looking for solid dark blue this isn't for you. But we love it and it's held up well with three young kids running over it all day. It would be nice if Target reviews allowed pictures so someone could show buyers what the color looks like in person.
