Made of plastic!
Loved the style of this lamp, assumed the pole was metal. Wrong! It’s plastic! So disappointing, particularly considering the price.

Lovely lamp. the shade color is a little darker than it shows but i love it. built strong it certainly looks a lot more expensive that what i paid for.

Fantastic design, though what I didn't realize is that it is plastic! Depending on placement and preference some folks might not like the look, Personally, it fit in fine and has a nice heavy base. Helpful tip, tighten the column from the top to avoid "lamp lean".
