Love my first piece

This was my first piece of deBuyer cookware. We have an induction cooktop, and I knew these were great on gas burners. Seasoning showed that we have a hotspot on our induction cooktop, so I guess it was a bonus feature? In any event, the seasoning went smoothly, and making crêpes has been so easy, a Parisian would think they were made at home.

Great product, I seasoned it first with a very thin layer of oil and I could cook crepes and eggs without sticking from the first uses, you have to preheat the pan before adding the oil and the food

Works Perfectly

Perfect for the crepes my husband has been wanting. I wanted to keep it simple and easy and this pan works perfectly for both. The pan isn’t too large for me to handle. My first batch of crepes came out without a hitch. I’m getting the “batter swirl” thing down too. Easy and highly recommend.

The de buyer force blue steel 24cm pan is unreal.I was looking for pan that was not too heavy and non stick just to cook eggs on.so how has it gone so far fantastic the first thing I did was clean the pan in very hot water with a brush and light scaring pad.next put the pan on the stove on high i put in beef tallow a big chunk from coles to season the pan you could use oils.but I used beef tallow as it started to melt I lightly coated around the pan with a peace of paper towel then as it got hotter until it was smoking and very hot I discarded the tallow I turned the heat off put the pan back on the stove and wiped out with three peaces of paper towel vigorously and repeated one more time us a glove to be safe the pan is now seasoned. I just us butter to cook the eggs in wait till the butter stops popping then it's ready to use. I only have the heat under half on the stove these pans heat up very quickly. When done I just wipe out with a paper towel. B.blow

Great pan for crepes

This pan is a great addition to my weekend crepes session. Much more even than my old CS pan, as it has a slightly thicker base, and seasoned up nicely for a great non stick experience. Loved it

Horrible

Dont waste your money. The worst thing i have ever own. I tried to make crapes and i couldn't finish them. Horrible —the pan sticks, it’s not flat so it doesn't heat equally. Just save yourself the money.
