Really glad to find the size grate that I needed! Looks as pictured. You can close and open the vent easily, but the slats are plastic making it less quality, like everything that is made these days I guess.

Brushed Nickel Register

Yes by God, the register is just lovely and serves its functional purpose exactly as intended. The only problem, is that Home Depot's constant barrage of emails asking me how I feel about a "register" is just a tad stupid don't ya think? Its a register!

The size stated did not match to what was on line, to the package cover and to what the actual measurement was of the floor register. So, there were 3 different measurements. We had to beat the floor duct with a crow bar to make it fit.
