Good quality if on sale

Assembly was straightforward. The desk seems pretty sturdy and is nice looking. Seems to be a good value at the sale price (45% off) Not sure I would feel the same at full price.

Many small broken places especially in the corners

Deta Transitional Desk with Filing Cabinet-Walnut

The desk was very easy to put together. It is very sturdy and I love the color. Only one thing wrong is that the piece of one of the drawers was missing. I called the Customer service and they are sending me one.

Do not buy this desk

There is an overwhelmingly toxic smell to the desk and arrived damaged. The top of the desk is partially finished and the other part is unfinished. Would not recommend this to desk

The first desk I received had several broken pieces. Overstock was great and immediately sent me out a replacement. The 2nd one went together very easily and the drawers slid easily. Its a nice color and I would highly recommend it. I was impressed with Overstock customer service.

chemical smell coming from desk,

I liked the desk the only problem is the finish they put on it I have had it set up for over two weeks, there is a strong chemical smell coming off the desk that will not leave,

Table is functional but...

Assembling the table took time, some parts had to be replaced. Although the manufacturer sent the parts, we used guerrilla glue to hold some parts together, as it didn’t appear steady. The desk is functional. I am afraid to move the desk to another room in case the nuts and bolts come out. I guess for the price, it serves the purpose.

For some I thought the wood would look somewhat like cherry!?!

Packaging needs corrected, but nice desk.

I like the desk, but it had some damage to it. I didn't think that It would show much, so that was disappointing after getting it together and it did show. It wasnt packaged correctly. All the pieces were just packed on top of each other where as they should of had some kind of foam or something in between the pieces So they wouldn't get scratched or damaged. As heavy as the box was I didn't want to try returning it at my age. It does the job. I recommend it and hopefully if you order yours wont be damaged.

Upon received box was highly damages. piece were scratched and a peice was chipped. screws were place in a box not in tack. clips were missing. was able to find some at lowes but spent an extra 10 dollars. outcome desk work just not perfect.

I like that it has some weight to it, about 80 Lbs, and it was relatively easy to put together by myself. It did have a few scrapes on the pieces since it wasn't packed with a lot of padding, but nothing terrible that was showing. The drawers seem to work well on their gliders.

Hopeful but somewhat disappointed

The desk arrived on schedule but we were disappointed when we saw that some of the pieces were scratched or had unpainted sections on them. Furthermore, the instructions were very difficult to follow as it was only pictures without written step by step guidelines. Some assembly required is an understatement for this product!

It’s nice and beautiful and easy to put together

Beautiful desk. It took my husband three hours. It’s not how fast, It’s how to follow instructions so everything fits fine. There was a problem with one of the drawers. My husband had to fix the rail for the drawer. Now my sorrow is it came with some chips in the wood. It is sturdy.

Pray that it's not damaged on delivery...

Unfortunately it came very damaged, it's a shame because the color of the desk was a beautiful wood color. Still waiting for a resolution from cUstomer service

Do Not Waste Your Time and Money

The chemical smell in this product is overwhelming. I've assembled many pieces of furniture, this desk is very difficult to assemble. Most of it is made of cheap material that cracks easily. I had to tape several of the smaller pieces back together. If I hadn't thrown out all the packing materials, I would return it. Got it on sale, but still not worth what I paid.

Good value for money

Its a sturdy table but I am giving a star less because couple of screws were missing and some parts of the table were a bit chipped. But over all good value for money

It’s ok but not the best it came damaged but we needed it so will be using what came in.

Poor Quality

Desk looks great once assembled. Quality of materials (locking nuts) was terrible. Desk assembly had to be braced with small L shaped brackets to make it sturdy. Desk top arrived damaged due to poor shipping quality.

Only opened the packaging enough to take out a main piece - one of the big side pieces - and take it in the house to compare how the coloring looked with other furniture. It did not look like the photos at all. It looked like wood painted dark/chocolate brown. I put the piece back in the packaging and we will be returning it, so i couldn't speak to the quality or assembly of it, just the color.
