Great globe light for coffee bar

Love the shape, color and the little bubbles in glass globe that create a subtle reflection on the ceiling when illuminated. Great replacement for the traditional builder grade “boob” light too!

I bought this light to replace 3 cans over my sink. This pendant is compatible with the flush mount fixture in the same style, so I was able to use some of the extension rods from the pendant to make the flush mount fixture into a short pendant. The fixture came very well packaged and has clear instructions. The pieces are sturdy and fit together well. I would have liked the tubes to be slightly wider to make assembly a little easier, but it was not too hard. I don't know if spliced wires would fit, so extra length is limited to about a foot of extra wire if you need more than the advertised length for high ceilings. Extension rods are not available separately, so you'd have to buy another pendant to get extension rods. I plan to stagger the length of 3 fixtures. Country of origin is China.

Multi-Length Champagne Pendant Light with Effervescent Bubble Globe

Like the Semi-Flush mount version of the Design House Gracelyn series, the installation diagrams helped figure out which pieces are needed; the semi-flush mount only uses the smallest pole, whereas the pendant required the use of the swivel and stems. I choose to install this fixture as a semi-flush mount, and there really isn't a difference between this one and the semi-flush mount version of the pendant. In addition, the Satin Gold color is more like champagne in color. Lastly, I still had the same minor issue with the t-shaped lip lining up with the globe shade. If it's not evenly lined up, the globe will fall; likewise, the decorative nut tightened too much will crack the globe.

Simple and modern

We are going Mid-Century Modern as we renovate out house and this Design House Gracelyn Modern 1-Light Satin Gold Indoor Dimmable Pendant with Clear Seedy Glass Globe Shade was the perfect choice. It's large and has a beautiful seedy glass globe that looks fantastic when the light is on. The fixture was so easy to put together and install and it looks great. My wife put a colored bulb in it for fun.

The Design House light pendant is very functional and has some great features. The light can be installed on ceilings up to a 45 degree angle and can be extended to be as long as 48”. It has a really nice matte black finish which gives it a very nice modern look to it. The light can use a max 60 watt bulb and it uses a standard light bulb base.

The Design House Gracelyn 9 in. 1-Light Matte Black Pendant is a very nice looking light fixture. I really like the look of the matte black hardware this light has and the seeded glass pendant shade is amazing too. It comes with different sized rods to use to fit to the hanging height you need. I like the use of the metal rods in the design too instead of exposed wire since sometimes lights with exposed wires never straighten out, the rods solve that problem, plus it keeps the light from swaying if it gets bumped. Instructions for installation were easy to follow, we had it up in no time. With a 60 watt max bulb, this light looks great and provided lots of stylish light.

Just installed the Gracelyn 9" pendant light in the hallway and we love the updated look it gives to our home. Our old light fixture had a frosted glass shade that always made the hallway seem dim no matter how bright a bulb we used, now with the clear seed glass globe and a edison bulb we have plenty of light. Installation was ok but not simple due to the way the glass globe is held in place, we used the 2" extension to keep the light close to the ceiling. The direction are easy to understand with a good picture diagram of the assembly and plenty of extension length choices with two 12", two 6" and one 2" extension that can threaded together for any combination of length. The base of the light fixture also has a pivot joint for angled ceilings (our ceiling is flat but a nice feature just the same). Nice light, great matte black finish and a beautiful seed glass globe.

I would recommend Design House Gracelyn 9 Inch Light. This light has a classic Matte Black Finish. The clear seedy glass globe shade is an upgrade to any room. You can add what ever type of bulb you want to finish the look. Easy to install and clear easy to follow directions. This Pendant will work even on a sloped ceiling with an angle up to 45 degrees. Rod is adjustable from 6 inches to 12 inches and one adjustable rod to 2.15 adds lots of flexibility for hanging. This light will brighten up any room with its modern look.
