Great solid bench, quality for the cost can’t be beat. Holds a ton of weight, the storage shelf is large and runs the length of the entire bench, and the bench top is lush with a durable rubber type material. The colors are awesome if your into the DEWALT line.

Really like the design and look of the product. Mostly great, but I can't rank it as highly as I want to because of the durability of the bench cover material, in my opinion it's pretty bad. I haven't had it very long, maybe two months, and the material has already ripped. I accidentally knocked my bike over and the handle bar hit the bench and it tore. I would have expected the material to be more durable. It isn't as if the handle bar is bare metal or sharp, it has a wide rubber handle on it, and it was only a two foot drop. Still my fault, but the covering seems like pretty cheap material if it rips from that.

Used it for another purpose

Yes, this is the correct photo. As you can see in the photo I have two of the DeWalt DXST4500 shelf units. I wanted to add another shelf to one of them. Because of the 18" x 50" there is nothing available to do that, per se. I arrived at this expensive solution. I purchased this same sized DXSTFB048 bench and used the uprights and the shelf parts to add onto my existing shelf unit. I already had the stacking brackets that came with the shelf units so I was good-to-go there. Here is the result.

A great option!

Very nice solution. We wanted a bench for the garage to change or take off shoe before entering the house. This is the perfect solution. Very well made, good size, not too difficult to assemble. In addition, the storage shelf keeps the shoes off the floor which is a plus here in scorpion territory!

This is a sharp looking bench that we placed in our garage for putting on work boots/snow shoes etc. I'm close to 300 pounds and it doesn't make a sound when I sit down or move. One warning is plan out where to set your rack first because resetting it/moving is a chore. There's essentially no way to move it without taking the entire bench apart. We found that without setting on the lowest possible place that all boots would have to be sideways and clearance was tight even for sneakers. On the bottom rung, my size 15s fit well and stay nicely out of the way. Even with the rack reset, putting together was a breeze. I enjoy this bench and look forward to using for years to come.

Made very well, painted very well, packaged very well, and easy to put together. I love the look, feel, and presence of this bench in my garage. Looking forward to purchasing a matching shelf unit (maybe two); 2020-2021 hasn't been easy however, transforming a cluttered garage into a spacious work space and gym, is long over due and beneficial to our wellbeing. No regrets, just progress. All we have is each other.

This is a really cool bench but you better be ready for a million parts and to follow directions carefully. There are specific bars that can’t go in backwards. Not sure why they just didn’t cut holes in both sides so they all fit even though they are identical. There are clips to hold the shelf that are very difficult to put in at the end so you can leave them off as the shelf will sit there without them. Overall it’s a cool piece and very useful but don’t expect to use it out of the box.

Great. Very sturdy. Takes a few minutes to put together, but it’s not difficult. I use it on the landing in my garage for taking off and putting on shoes. The shelf underneath is handy for storing shoes.

Very nice addition to any dewalt fan. The only complaint I have would be that the top material is like a pleather that I’m afraid to puncture if I sit on it with any sharp object. Other than that it’s great to finally sit and think of my projects I’m working on in my garage.

The pins make it a bit noisy

The angled pins for securing the unit together are noisy when you move the unit. I'm not overly impressed with the way Dewalt decided to have this be put together. The cushion is not very supportive. I am a big guy though in Dewalt's defense. I weight about 240 lbs and the cushion just melts away providing no support.

hello' let me state first I I'm a big Dewalt tool owner so as far as this bench goes I was very disappointed the concept of the bench is decent it's pretty straight forward as far as the assembly goes. With that said this thing was really mickey mouse as far as tabs and slots not lining up very well as far as this big industrial powder coat job they talk about forget that it looks like some body did in a back yard garage body shop TERRIBLE!!!! it was rough and pitty looking. Mine was already chipping and peeling off when I received it and took out of the box today 6/17/19 the leather on the seat super cheap thin material not tuck very well around corners either should of kept my wooden box that I made with a cushion on it. I was going to get the matching stool and scooter chair but after getting this they can keep them I wouldn't touch their rack system either people.

Attractive, sturdy and useful addition to my garage. Used to sit on the garage steps leading up into the house to put on my yard shoes / work boots. Easy to assemble although I was a bit disappointed in the design and loose fit of locking keys. Would have preferred a cap head hex bolt with lock nut rather than the hex key design. The instructions for attaching the wire grid clips is a bit confusing as the instruction, picture and actual installation are different but it was not hard to figure out once I tried a few times. Overall, I'm pleased with the bench and have gotten compliments and question as to where I bought it.
