Terrible directions but a solid bench

Assembly directions are so small that they're difficult to see and not very detailed. Bench is beautiful and strong when it is assembled.

Great quality at a good price, this bench was bought on sale.

Dewalt work bench

Finished product is ok but I never would have purchased it had I known how much trouble assembly would be. Along with an engineer and my spouse we eventually assembled this bench. Ridiculous hard to follow instructions in even more ridiculously small print. It took 2 to 3 hours to complete the easy assembly advertised. Never again. I could gave built a better wooden bench in less time.

Instructions were the worst, it seemed like a fairly simple bench to build the instructions were more confusing than helpful.

Missing keyholes in bench leg

Keyholes in one leg did not extent up the full length of the leg preventing assembly.

Nice and sturdy but the quality in craftsmanship is poor. Many of the plastic parts came broken in the box, pieces were misaligned and required a lot of work to bend them back into place. I expected more for the price. I would have returned it if it wasn’t such as hassle to ship it back.

I purchased this workbench recently and assembled it. Assembly was relatively easy. The drawer is large and very functional.

I have this product and love it. It is sturdy and very useful for storage as well as being a work surface.

sturdy and not that hard to assemble

I combined this work bench, peg board and shelf with a large Dewalt rack to fit on one side wall in my garage. I built it by myself without assistance and it took about an 1 hour. Not hard to put together and instructions were better than normal and with looking at the finished product picture on the box and directions it wasn't stressful. Yes i had to read the instructions and look at the parts and then when doing the actual drawer I had to read them again. Pretty straight forward overall and really not a lot of parts the way Dewalt has designed it. Get a rubber mallet if you don't have one.

Dewalt Quality, won’t be disappointed

Easy to put together. Would be easier if you could read instructions without a magnifying glass. It was a debate between this one and Maximum model. Maximum doesn’t say what drawer weight capacity is but already having one it’s a little flimsy feeling compared to Dewalt. Neither of them have chair/stool capabilities. Both are same length and height but with Dewalt width 6” shorter, there’s room to put a larger table top on to sit under it in the room I have available.
