We ordered 3 kits which will create a 10X22 feet building. We (My son, 70 year old husband, and me) have the flooring done and are working on the upright 2x4's. Building is coming along great. If you want a diy project and save thousands of dollars by building your building, go for the kit. Looks professional and we are so pleased with how easy it is to do.

NOT A "WOOD SHED"

I did NOT expect flooring, siding or roofing materials as they were stated to be chosen separately. But I DID expect framing, as it was not stated anywhere in the "WOOD SHED" description that NO wood was included. Only the metal connections were included.

These brackets are great for putting up a shed. I could’ve just put it up normally, but these bracket make it easier to put the top peak on with just one person putting it together.

Flimsy! Build one by hand. I did and much better. Never ended up using. Waste of money

Love the kit. Great instructions. Easy to follow. One you cut all the wood it’s a snap.

For the most part, this worked out fairly well. It took a bit longer than I expected, but I also did almost everything by myself. The instructions were decent, although a few more details would have helped, such as dimensions of the siding (steps 27, 28, and 30), the recommended thickness of the plywood, making sure it's clear NOT to screw wood together at certain steps when it seems intuitive to do so ... and the screwing actually takes place several pages later (in step 24), and what to do when things don't quite work out (e.g., Why did board "O" stick out from the gables? Why doesn't the door fit in the last step?). Also, it would be helpful to recommend other options such as drip edges, shingle glue, and caulking apart from the ambiguous "add trim if desired." Having at least two people to work on this is a huge help, fyi.

instructions are not excellent

the directions are horrible. the pieces look good though, so i think i will be able to make the shed. just wish there were readable instructions, not just pictures for illiterate peeps. :(

I see some reviews here speaking ill of the item. This is a user error not the stores fault. Item clearly states it is a kit with parts for beginner level. This is so a beginner who doesnt know how to cut angels need merely cut tge boards to length. Many times these can be purchased aleeady to specified length. Plus i like a good sale like antone else but you cant buy even a tiny one for your bike for under $50

People are idiots. Read description. Tells you, doesnt includes wood. Think you’d get all that for 50$.

Not misleading...Read the details

Just thought I’d help out those of you who don’t like to read details before making a purchase.

MISLEADING

Misleading to say the least. The picture DOES show a shed frame - 2x4s included. NOTHING in the ad shown indicates it's just hardware. If not for one of the posters saying that's all it is, it would have been ordered. Need to change the ad and picture or put in caps somewhere that LUMBER IS NOT INCLUDED!!!

Purchased 2 kits. Arrived on time. We have started the building and it has been easy. Directions are easy to read and had a perfect list of all the materials (wood) needed. Can't wait to see ours finally finished!

The instructions were damage because they put them inside the box with no protection or bubble wrap.

Save Your Money

Poor picture directions make the process time consuming.Questions abound and no verbal help, video, or suggestions when their is a problem. Only enough connectors to put it together. Need another? Buy a new full kit. Must be a carpenter to do it well.Get it slightly out of square and prepare for many custom cuts and process waste because standard 4X8 sheets won't fit. Save your money and buy a precut kit with good directions. It will cost a couple hundred dollars more but will be a time saver and you now can ask questions and have access to information. Did I mention that their website is nothing more than an advertisement? This connector kit is money and time foolish.

7x8 Barn style shed

Good kit to get you started. Mine came with threaded directions, so I was only able to read parts of it. Once I figured out what goes where, it was pretty easy to build. I would recommend this to anyone even if you have limited building experience, like me!

The assembly instructions are graphics only, no text other than measurements. The instructions also lacked specifying plywood thickness/or type. Contruction knowledge is therefore necessary. Anchoring requirements for the structure are also not specified.

you get pieces to make a shed

Learn to read the reviews and descriptions before making a purchase so you can leave an informative review. I love when people are upset because they didnt read the ad and see it says shed kit. Did you really thing youre gonna get a complete shed and kit for 50.00 ?

Finally built this yesterday. Easy build for a novice...You will definitely need one other person to build this. I recommend cutting and marking all the prices before building.

Great for Chicken Coop

This went together quickly and easily in a few afternoons. Came with cut list and the directions were mostly easy to understand drawings. Adapted it to make a nice sized chicken coop with shingled roof, window, vinyl floor and run. Love it. Almost everything we got from Lowes, including a $150. window for $30. because someone had returned it with a screw hole drilled in it, so it was marked way down.
