This is my second set of these. I was just spray painting the old ones when they got faded/tired looking. However, after many years of this I decided to purchase new ones. Haven’t put them out yet as porch will be painted soon.

Very sturdy and good quality. I did end up returning because the size wasn't quite big enough for us! Nice mailbox, though!

Perfect. It also comes with a lock and key it’s under the first lid of the mailbox that you will lift up then there’s a mail slot with a key. Hope this was descriptive.

Perfect size

I received this item for free in return for my honest opinion. I really needed one of these and I love it. Mine was so old and this was thee perfect size. Wasn't hard to install. You do have to buy what you need to install this separately. But it was easy to buy the other item's and install. I do recommend. It's definitely a good item that will hold up. Not cheap at all.

I'm very happy with my new mailbox. I purchased an open box item and it arrived in perfect condition. It was also very easy to hang. Be advised, no mounting hardware is included even for an new purchase. Just the keys and lock assembly is included.

Best Mailbox For Out Guesthouse

We just recently remodeled and built a guesthouse for my grown daughter. We needed a new mailbox for her mail. Love this box. It is just the right size and color. Built well, versatile and looks great. It is secure and sturdy and has the right look for my house.

I love my new mailbox. It was very easy to install and the quality is great. It’s nice and very sturdy. It comes with a set of keys for opening and locking the top to get your mail for security.

I love this mailbox! So quaint. Nice squarish shape, raised lettering. It has a slot for letters and your own lock and key for securing your mail. Let me say though , I bought it as a nostalgic decorative item for my front porch. My daughter said it would make a unique gift. Basic stamped steel box. It fastens at the top only and doesn’t weigh enough to hold the bottom down. When you open the lid, the box pivots on the screw holding it to the wall. I installed on vinyl siding and perhaps a perfectly flat surface would work better. You get what you pay for.

Very Inadequate Secure Mailbox

I bought the mailbox to secure my mail. It is very inadequate for doing that. Because the mailbox is not deep enough you can easily reach your fingers in through the mail drop slot and pull out the mail without unlocking it. If it were five to six inches deeper than the mail would drop down far enough that you couldn't get your fingers in to grab it through the drop slot.

Nice looking mail box. Just FYI if you use the locking feature the slot is somewhat small and larger pieces won’t fit (which would be expected) however, I could still fish out pieces of mail easily without unlocking it which defeats the purpose of it being a locked box.

Perfect size. Nice deep seat. Thought it was going to be a bit more yellow, but the color is more green and is called “wasabi” so I should have known. But it still works well in the corner of my dining room. Easy to install the legs. Not something you want to sit in all day, but looks nice and is quite sturdy.

I'm, afraid I have to echo all the 1 star reviews and say if you are concerned about stolen mail dont buy this product. A screwdriver could easily pry this gage metal, but you dont have to pry anything cause fingers can reach in and pull out mail with the lid closed and locked. I could have saved 5 or 6 $ and gotten a non-locking product that I liked the looks of better in the first place.

No issues so far, but a bit too small for some bigger envelopes and magazines (wish it was slightly wider). Easy to mount. Opening is not big enough where you could fish out mail with your hand (which is good). Front, rather than top, opening to take mail out would me more convenient.

This is a great value for a metal mailbox made in the USA. It has 2 sets of holes in the back to securely attach the mailbox to a wall or fence. It doesn't come with any mounting hardware which is understandable because there's not a standard method for attaching. I used stainless steel zip ties to attach to a chain link fence.

It`s small print on not included but not being able to easily go back in store a thing you`d like the manufacturer to consider. I`d gladly pay the additional pennies if those were included. Otherwise solid purchase for what we needed.

Sure its metal and looks nice but it's design is an utter failure for stopping theft. The problem is it's not tall enough. Letter mail put it the slot just sits right at the slot opening (its so short that a standard envelope just fits perfectly) and the slot is big enough that you can VERY easily fish all letters out using two fingers. Also if you leave it open and packages are put in, there is little barb inside that constantly rips open your packages when you take them out. At least the price is $17, I bought it when it was $40.
