Dangerous purchase---be warned!

I was so disappointed today, when I received this storage bench to find a WARNING sign on the bottom of the box that the product can expose you to chemicals including Formaldehyde (gas) and can cause cancer! I returned it immediately!!!! This should have been noted to customers before ordering!

Nice furniture accessory but color is off.

Overall, the product is very good quality, looks nice and already comes mostly assembled. All you have to do is put on the four leg bases and the seating pad. Ready to go in 5 minutes. The cons though are that the pictures displayed don't accurately display the "off white" color. The product comes more like a light grey or natural color instead.

Perfect for any room

Exactly what the picture looks like and what I wanted. The seat cushion is comfortable to sit on. I shopped around and the was by far the best price and bang for my buck. I love it.

The "paint" quality is a little poor.

It is smaller than other chests and meets my need. It is put together well but the edges of the panel will need paint or glue at some point. It shows some "peeling" of the material along the edges of the top. May be tape, may be pain - not sure.

This piece is beautiful. Lots of storage space. I am very happy with my purchase.

I’m in love with my new bench!

I absolutely love my bench from Lamps Plus! Absolutely gorgeous and very well made. I love the details and the color. The cushion on top looks like someone sewed it. Very well made! Came even sooner than originally planned (it was for my birthday that’s in March) so that was a plus! Very well packaged for transport.

Good Storage

I ordered this bench for an entry way that needed a place to put on shoes/boots and/or a place to set a purse or package. It was ordered on October 11 with an estimated delivery date of October 24. I received it yesterday, October 15, nine days ahead of schedule. It was delivered by UPS in perfect condition. It is a lovely bench with great storage, although I wasn't looking for storage. I called QVC before purchasing to be sure that it didn't involve any type of assembly. No assembly is required. I still hesitated fearing it would arrive damaged and uncertain how I would return something so large. Fortunately, I had nothing to fear and it is a perfect bench. To me it is worth the purchase price.

Not worth the hassle

It would have been a perfect item had it not been really damaged. When I asked for a replacement they said they were on back order and I would have to wait. I cancel the order. The same order was pick up then brought back to me again more damaged. Took them a week to pick it up.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED!

Arrived in a ugly looking box but the unit was UNDAMAGED. Screw in the legs and you're good to go. I got it for a space near my back door. There no good place for shoes there and everyone is being trained to put their shoes in the box. I cut a piece of carpeting to fit in the bottom so it will be easy to clean the sand and dirt that will accumulate in there. Thanks!

It came put together except for the legs. I was worried about the possibility of damage during shipping, but it was packaged great.

Best bench ever

Beautiful storage bench great size and height already built just pullout and place where ever you like. Very light and Easy to move! Does not scratch floors at all!!!

This is an amazingly built storage bench/seat. We love that it came put together. We only had to screw the feet on. Its even more beautiful in person.

Good bench!

I really like the look of this and it was difficult to find a "pull up" style bench that also fit my style. I took one star off because there is a poorly done (not sanded) wood patch in one of the corners. It's not super noticeable, but is the side that doesn't face the wall.

wrong color shipped

I ordered this in the white wash finish. I received today, and it was the Antique Gray. Disappointed, but I need the storage and do not have time to ship it back and wait for another. Otherwise, the piece is roomy and sturdy.

It arrived in one piece. All I had to do was screw in the legs. My kind of assembling, simple. The size was perfect for my front window creating a nice window seating. \nThe color finish was more of a khaki color. The cushion was more of a grey khaki. \nThis made a great shoe storage unit.

Received broken!!

I don?t recommend this item. I received it and the side of it was broken. I spoke with 2 different people who I got disconnected to both, coincidentally, and they both gave me two complete different directions. Basically had to bring it back to the store myself in original packaging as I received it. Well after you open up a big box with a ton of styrofoam and tape it?s impossible to put back together the way you get it. So unfortunately my only option was to keep it and try to fix it. I will NEVER order from Walmart again!
