Not Standard Height

Excellent toilet, but it is not standard height! It seems that many of the Toto listings on Lowe's say standard height, when they're not, there are only a couple that are actually standard height. You need to look at the measurements. Just be sure you know this is chair height before buying. Taking off one start due to the inaccurate listing

Great toilet but NOT standard height

This toilet should not be advertised as standard height, it is actually chair height. Really wish I caught that before buying, and wish I could actually find a standard height round Toto Drake. Chair height sucks, it's a much less effective position for bowel movements. Definitely recommend getting a squatty potty for this toilet

clean look, functions well, shipping problematic

The toilet flushes well and has a nice clean look. The packing is problematic and the base of the toilet chipped. Didn't open the box till the toilet is already in the house. Didn't want to pay the service call fee twice, so it was installed with a chip on the brand new toilet.

great product chair/comfort height is what I was looking for. 1.6 gpf works for saving water . the price was better than a local supply house

Tornado flush does not work well!

We purchased the Drake to replace a low-grade toilet that was in our house when we moved in. After a couple months of use, the Drake has been a big disappointment. The main issue is that the tornado flush leaves bits of poop in the bowl more than any other toilet I have ever owned. Even back when I had teenage boys and half the football team at the house, I wasn't wiping out any of our toilet bowls as much as with the Drake and just two adults in the house. It's not like our habits have changed in the couple of months that we had this toilet. It is also a pretty loud flush, but that would be OK if it worked correctly. We had heard such good things about Toto that our original plan was to replace three toilets at once with Drakes, I am so glad we decided to try just one out first, as we will not be considering Totos in the future.

Toto makes a great toilet and the Drake works quite well.

Would definitely recommend

It’s rated as one of the best and we’re loving the tornado flush system and half the water usage. My husband is regretting not getting the elongated bowl as this round bowl is a bit smaller than we’re used to these days. But it’s not a problem, just a preference.

Great design

Love the rimless design and powerful flush. My one wish is that it was 1" shorter. I'm 5'2" and my feet no longer fully touch the ground. But happy with this purchase, as it's easier to keep clean and there won't be nasty stuff growing in and under the rim.

The toilet arrived on time, in perfect condition. I was very happy with the looks of it. When my plumber installed, inside the tank was a manufacturing problem and it was continuously running. The fill valve had to be replaced with another brand. Now that it was replaced, I will say that I do love it. It now works super.

This toilet flushes very well, looks sleek, and we are very happy with it. It is on the smaller size (bowl and footprint) which is what we needed for our small bathroom. If we had no size restrictions, then we would have preferred the elongated version.

Toto. No.No.

THE GOOD: It came in 2 boxes, which made it easy to handle. Lowes took it back without any hassle.

The little tornado!

Very POWERFUL flush!

The standard height feels great to sit on. The 1.6 g/f give a little more water to flush and completely rinse the bowl. Very powerful tornado action when you flush!

Bad experience from start to finish

The first toilet was shipped in a box with: a) no markings to indicate which side should be up; b) no markings to indicate that the contents were fragile; and c) insufficient packing material to keep the toilet from moving around.

Broken bowl

The bowl was broken in some many pieces, it was as if someone dropped it off a building. It should have been obvious the product was damaged by the noises from the box when it was moved. But they shipped it anyway.

Arrived without a dent or scratch! Price reasonable.

Tornado Flush Works/Packed Correctly

Solidly Packed, so that was a worry for nothing. The tornado flush does the job as quick as a twisty taking off your roof.

Did not receive full order

I was notified that my order was ready, but when I went to pick it up only the tank and the toilet seat were at the store. Very poor communication. The rep at the pickup desk was oblivious that the toilet bowl was missing. You don't buy a toilet without the bowl. My previous experience at this Austin store was likewise pitiful; also a matter of poor communcation. I previously bought another Toto toilet and paid $285 to have it installed. When the contractor showed up 2 hours late, he demanded an extra $112 on top of the $285 because he said it was a special order, but no one could explain to me what constituted "special order" status. Apparently, it took 30 minutes to locate it at the store and they expected me to pay for it. I was told the bowl would arrive yesterday, but I still haven't heard from the store. I will not be buying my hot water heater from Lowe's, that's for sure.

Great toilet but small leak

I really like this toilet but there is a very small leak under the tank. I believe it is coming from the gasket where the tank flows into the bowl. I have to disassemble it to find out.
