Warning: You have to drill holes into the tub which nullifies the warranty of your tub. Also, you’re creating holes in tubs that’s opening up more spots for potential leaks.

Took a while for us to find the right frameless sliding door for our tubbath renovation. Smooth and soft door closing operation.

Beautiful but not as functional

The door looked beautiful on day 1 but after a bit of use the shortcomings become clear. As mentioned in other posts, there will likely be some overlap between the doors that is extremely difficult to clean. Because one side is stationary, it becomes difficult to do things like turn on the faucet from outside the tub as you might want to do when heating up the water or trying to clean the tub. Within a year, many areas are rusting. If I could go back I would opt for something that won't have these issues. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be much out there that looks like this one.

Glass is the star of this door! Beautiful, not encumbered with a lot of metal. Very well made.

Very beautiful door

I have used this door since September 2022. Pros: Beautiful, elegant door. Slides easily, Highly quality materials. Will last a very long time. Cons: Unhelpful customer service at Dreamline - we needed some suggestions about the installation but they wouldn't help. The seal at the bottom isn't wide enough and doesn't stick well. It already needs to be replaces and I will replace it with a wider piece to better keep the water in the tub. It is a bear to clean where the glass overlaps most especially in the track between the glass. I'm still trying to figure out how to keep that are clean. The track needs to be wiped out daily because it hold water.

Glass shower doors arrived broken and then I was left with disposing the doors which was difficult because of their size and weight.

Mirage 56-60 inch W by 58 inch H clear glass tub door

We love the shower door. The glass is very sturdy and the perfect thickness. Track is easy to clean and slides well.

We recieved the wrong steel color and one was the wrong side opening. We didnt realize it until our handy man installed them so I cant return the two doors. Over all the doors and nice and good quality but i wish they were not chrome and that the handle was on the correct side

Fantastic!

We think this is a stunning shower door! Minimal hardware; lots of glass. It’s worked wonderfully over the past 3 months that we’ve had it. The build and material quality appear top notch. We especially like the fact that there’s not a top rail. There’s no other shower door like this, in our search.

Beautiful however you need to be a handy person to install and not afraid to poke holes in your tub edge to secure. Very heavy kit. It actually looks stunning once installed. Love it.

Looks nice, but..

I really like the look of this shower door and it slides nicely. What I don't like is the sliding door sits higher than the front edge so water is constantly getting on the floor outside of the tub. My installer and I both tried to adjust so it sits lower but there isn't any way that I know of. So I'll spend the rest of my time in this house wiping up water from the floor tile every time this shower is used. Also, be careful if you do buy this, to make sure nothing interferes with the top mount bracket. I got very very lucky that my new hand sprayer track was slightly to the right, otherwise I would have had a major issue.

Love this shower door. The semi-frameless design makes this look AMAZING. Best addition to the new bathtub. Definitely recommend. Only thing to consider is that since the one panel is fixed, there is a small space that isn’t easy to clean, and requires a bit of “Macgyver” cleaning tool to get inside.

This door looks beautiful. I am conpletely impressed by the high quality and attention to detail of this door. I installed myself with no issue. The glass is heavy so youll want help. The instructions look intimidating at first but they are extremely detailed. Read through them before you start. I had it installed in just a few hours which uncluded some breaks. Id buy this again in a second.
