Good product but...

Great product, easy to clean. It open once while we cooking , good idea to put a plate under juste in case it happen again and to collect de grease. Overall i'm not disapointed.

DO NOT buy this basket!!

The latch design is terrible! I used this basket for the first time today to cook BBQ wings on my Napoleon grill. The basket opened four times, spilling the chicken wings onto the grill. It was a Father's Day gift, and I am extremely disappointed!

Today I used the Napoleon basket for the first time to cook BBQ wings. Unfortunately, the basket opened four (4) times and spilled the wings all over the grill. I eventually gave up and tried to salvage dinner by putting the wings in the oven. The latch design is TERRIBLE!

Very well built, works well. A bit hard to clean but still love this thing. Cooked up 36 chicken wings, about 5 pounds and had room for more. Works great.

Worth the splurge. Next level cuisine at home

I have been using this basket for close to a year now. It has held up well with no issues. Makes awesome wings, potatoes, shrimp and more.

Defective with no customer service!

Got one for Christmas went to use it last week only to find it was defective with a broken latch! Tried to contact Napoleon but got no replies. Even asked if I could purchase the broken half. Nothing. Big waste of money!

[Rewarded Review] Annihilated package, retaped, smashed mesh basket

Not a good look for BBQ Guys, who sold this. The package was not only smashed, it was heavily retaped indicating that this is a returned or damaged item. This was NOT damage from shipping. Not, surprisingly, one side of the metal mesh basket is all bent. Seems like it will work, but I didn’t pay for this.

I love the rotisserie basket. Waited for Super Bowl to do some wings (previously done veggies). I prepped the wings the day before with some salt and rub and then let the slow rotisseries cook and crispin them up for about an hour at a constant 300F. Also note I cleaned the basket in the dishwasher, came out as good as new.

Don't buy until design flaw is repaired.

The first time out, the basket opened and spilled chicken wings all over the place. It hadn't even made one revolution! The basket is well made and sturdy. It's a shame it won't close. My clever husband wired it shut so we can use it but that's a short-term solution.

I have owned this basket for 2 years and have used it numerous times. I almost exclusively use it to cook chicken wings over lump charcoal fire in a Webber grill. This basket just works flawlessly. It is easy to clean compared to non-stainless baskets and it still looks brand new despite numerous pounds of wings. I do soak it overnight in hot water and Dawn before cleaning. One comment said it does not stay closed, but I view that as untrue! Brine your wings and let this puppy do the rest on a rotisserie. I dry rub going in and put sauce on after they come out. I have owned at least 6 different rotisserie baskets for cooking wings and this is the best. You will love this unit, solid, well made and cleans like a breeze.

this rotisserie basket is my favorite bbqing accessory, so easy to use and so many uses. chicken wings come out perfect in this as well as fries and veggies. nothing like adding that bbq flavour to typically fried foods.

Purchased our Grill Basket several years ago! We love it and use it for chicken wings drumsticks, thighs, vegetables, pork riblets. Grills evenly and can hold large amounts!

Can't Rotisserie and Grill at same time on Rogue Models

Nowhere does Napoleon tell you this but if you have a Rogue model, you have to remove the grill to use the rotisserie basket as it catches on the grille surface - it's either/or, but not both at the same time. If the basket was perhaps 1" (2.5cm) smaller diameter it would work okay. and wouldn't catch, but as it stands it's a disappointing poorly considered, lazy design that adversely impacts the usability of the Rogue range.

Not compatible with all Napoleon grills

I bought a new Napoleon Freestyle last week, and decided to pick up the rotisserie grill basket as well. After setting up the grill, I went ahead and tried to test fit the grill basket. Much to my surprise, the basket could not make a complete turn as it would catch at the grill grates on both the hinge and front clasp. I was very disappointed. I was excited after reading the excellent reviews, to try this basket out. Perhaps I should have chosen the Rogue series over the Freestyle series grill. I will be returning it I guess.

Very poor craftsmanship

Purchased two of these to use with my Alfresco grill. The hexagons do not line up straight on either one of them. Have to tie together with butchers twine to prevent from falling apart during use. Very poorr craftsmanship.

Bought for my Kamado Joe as I don't have a Napoleon grill yet. Fits perfectly and yields the best wings I've ever had, no contest. Holds 5 pounds routinely, could hold a couple more I think. Super easy to clean, soap soak and dishwasher. Awesome basket.

This thing is awesome. I fit almost 40 wings in this thing. Ran the smoker box with some pellets and got some great smoke flavor on these too. With chicken less is more with smoke so that worked out great. Honestly it’s hard to beat a pellet smoker for wings but this thing does.
