Great boards to create that rustic look in any interior design/decorating! Boards themselves are pine and seems to be harvested from fallen trees - hues of grey on reverse side.

On the fence about this one. When I initially opened the plain brown boxed package of mixed brown, they looked absolutely stunning. The color was fantastic with lots of woodgrain showing through very much like the photo example. I was all excited to update my wife's desk area so I proceeded to let the planks acclimate since they were delivered outside for almost a full day. After a few days of acclimation, the boards began to twist and bow severely to the point that half are unusable without significant experimentation to straighten them out. It's a real shame because they were very clean and starlight right out of the box...unfortunately, there's not much anyone can do about it unless you take the time to read the grain and make cuts that "might" not bow or warp...only the grain knows what it will do as it dries out. I do not project this as a fault of the manufacturer unless they are manufacturing these planks without being kiln dried to kill bugs in the wood and to lower moisture content prior to finishing. It's worth it to me to experiment now and see if I can install it using a masonite backer and construction adhesive and apply even weight to straighten/flatten it all out and effectively make a composite plywood board that I can cut to fit...We shall see.
