Comfortable and Solid
Repurchased another set of these chairs to replace our old ones. Previous chairs were heavily used for 5+ years and overall were still holding up very well. We did have one of our previous chairs lose a rivet near the front leg but despite this, it is still functional. Chairs are sturdy and well made. No issues with fabric or stitching which I feel like has been an issue on many of the other camp chairs we have used in the past. These are fairly compact but are a bit longer when folded than some of the other brands. This is a welcomed tradeoff for me and my family to have an overall larger chair with a much more comfortable back. Would recommend.
A sturdy chair that's not too heavy
We needed to buy some new folding chairs and looked at several brands and styles. My BIL brought his to a family gathering so I was able to give them a test sit. I like the fact that they are sturdy and I can push up on the arms to get up. The two different size cup holders are more functional than I thought they'd be and are useful. They are a bit heavier than our previous chairs since they are much sturdier. We don't plan on carrying them several miles so this isn't an issue. One unexpected bonus was a price drop!
This chair is awesome! Some bag chairs sit you so low that it is difficult to get out of the thing! This chair has a firm sturdy seat that provides the perfect amount of sink without sending you to the ground. The dual locking feature is great as well so the thing stays closed or opened!! This chair is not tiny though. If you're looking for a compact bag chair, this is not the one. It is pretty long inside the bag.
Best chair out there!
Bought these chairs for a recent camping trip. Amazing comfort that has a slight recline. Oversized sitting area and love the two different size cup holders. One for water bottle other for regular cup or can. Would highly recommend this chair and would buy again.
Very comfortable, maybe a little heavy.
We replaced all our old chairs due to wear, tear and them being just plain uncomfortable. These chairs are great, and definitely fix the comfort problem. They are definitely bigger - good when sitting in them, less good when carrying them and stashing them in the car, and a bit heavier than chairs we've had in the past. But I guess that is the "price" you pay for comfort.
FANTASTIC CAMP CHAIR!!
This is a great chair! Comfortable, easy to open and close, perfect for taking to our nearby park for live music concerts all through the season. Also very easy to carry in its included fabric case. We are so happy with our purchase that we bought additional chairs so we have plenty when our family visits soon.
Great chair
I like that the seat is taut so when you sit in it it doesn't sink down. Also gives enough seat space so that it's not cutting into you at the back of the legs. The 2 cup holders come in handy. I just wish the back was taller. Overall a great chair for outdoor activities.
Excellent chair. Especially for the price.
Strong. It locks into place when collapsed and when set up. Easy to set up, Not too tall... not too much taller than other chairs when set up. I was worried that I might be sitting so much higher than everyone else. I like that the middle front does not sag at all keeping my thighs comfortable. When folded it's about 6-8 inches longer than my other outside chairs.
Good size for fairly broad shouldered guy
Just got the 2 of these chairs I ordered and wanted to leave a quick bit of info that I couldn't find before I bought them. The problem I've had with chairs of this style before is the bars of the back of the chair are too narrow and hit me in the shoulder blades, I hate that. These are just wide enough that they don't do that, 21 inches at the top between the bars. I'm happy 😊
This chair has the features I needed: firm seat, good locking mechanism, easy portability. Looks like quality materials and will hopefully last a couple seasons. The price - after fiddling around the website to compare/contrast various listings for the same chair - was quite reasonable.
Good chair
I’ve had the regular dual lock chair for about 10 years and it was time for a new one so I went with the xxl for the price. It’s the chair everyone steals while camping because it’s so sturdy and doesn’t sag like other folding chairs. This is a very big chair. My feet do not touch the ground but I’m fine with that. The lock function is a lot harder on this model. I have a hard time getting it to lock. This chair also came with a hole in the bag, almost like it was burnt in the bag. Not a huge deal but annoying for a brand new chair.
I am reviewing this fantastic Duo chair by Kijaro! I received this completely free from a giveaway on Facebook a few months ago from Tailgating Challenge group. My prize just arrived in the mail. I was able to pick any chair that was currently available in stock at the time, so I decided to go with the large Duo Kijaro chair. It fits two people perfectly without feeling cramped next to each other. This chair holds up to 500 lbs, is 53 inches long × 23 inches Wide and 37 inches in height. I love the quality of this chair. I have owned many fold up chairs in the past that don't last long or you can just feel the cheap quality. This duo chair comes with 2 oversized cup holders with a divider for your cell phone or other accessories you might have. I also love that this comes with a durable carrying case with a strap that goes on your shoulder or you can hold it by hand. I thought this chair would weigh a ton but after doing my research and physically testing it out, it only weighs a little over 12 pounds. I love using this outside next to my firepit, laying around in the sun, and bringing it on the go. I look forward to this summer and bringing it any chance I can get. This duo Kijaro chair retails on their website for $100.00 plus tax. Yes it is a little on the higher end, but it is worth it in my opinion. They do offer single size chairs at a more reasonable price point. This company is awesome because they are environmentally aware and are producing products that are made from recycled materials. #Complimentary #GiveawayWinner #Kijaro #DuoChair #Durable #Quality #Tailgating #TailgatingChallenge
Great but not perfect
I like the way these chairs sit, a bit higher than most and firm, not slouchy like the sling design. They lock into a fully open position which feels solid and supportive. They also lock closed for storage which is helpful. I like the extra large cup holder.
I do love the quality and comfort of the chair...
I do love the quality and comfort of the chair but it is HEAVY! After carrying this chair around, the straps dug into my shoulders and left marks on my skin. And the straps are too short to carry it crossbody style. I wanted the chair so I wouldn’t have to use a bag to carry it in. This one features a strap built onto the chair directly. However, the chair does not stay compact enough to carry it that way. The chair opens slightly because it does not have a lock to keep it closed together. I would not purchase again because you really do have to use the bag anyway. I could have saved money AND gotten something easy to carry and use.
Obvious Quality, XXL, great carry bag, no sag and very sturdy
I love the room in this chair and not having that thought just before sitting down wondering if it will collapse under me. This chair is sturdy! This chair is very comfortable, doesn't sag and gives an old guy like me plenty of hand support when standing back up. If you are extra large you wont be able to fill up this XXL seat! Take it from an old retired Fireman, You'll love this chair too. Two drink holders too. After getting my chair, I ordered two more for my sons. There are no bad points about this chair, so buy it. Kijaro is a fine company.

These are beautiful looking chairs. Well made. And the most uncomfortable camp chair I have EVER sat in. The chair is tipped back more than it looks in the picture. I think it was designed for a very large person with long legs. If you are very short, your legs do not touch the ground. If you are mid-range (I am 5'9", the front of the chair cuts into the back of my legs right above the knee. This is because the back and the seat are tipped back so the front of the seat really presses into your leg. If you are over 6' tall and/or quite hefty, perhaps you will be fine.
LOVE THESE CHAIRS
Bought these to watch fireworks in.
Great, sturdy, comfortable camp chair
Great chair, very comfortable, sturdy build, much more comfortable than other sling chairs I've owned. The back is not one piece with the seat so its easier on your back. Now that neighbors are gathering in small groups in driveways to maintain social distancing this chair will get a lot of use. Like the one touch lock when open or closed. Gives assurance chair is fully opened and secured before using. Only negative was after sitting for a few hours (in shade) my butt and pants were damp or sweaty. Not enough cooling or mesh properties, but small drawback. Overall, great chair and quick pickup from Walmart with online ordering.
The Kijaro chair opens and folds up easily. Putting it...
The Kijaro chair opens and folds up easily. Putting it back into the carrying bag is simple. It would be nice if the bag carrying strap was adjustable. Another improvement would be a short handle to allow for horizontal carry. The weight of the chair is heavier than I expected. Its folded length is also quite long and can be cumbersome to maneuver, however, the small footprint makes it convenient when stood vertically . The seat does not sag when sitting on the chair. The arms are comfortable and have two well sized cupholders in addition to a zippered pouch. The quality of the chair's construction is excellent. The materials appear to be strong and durable. Overall, it is a good value.
Seat rips
We bought five from Dick's, four in summer 2016 and one in summer 2017 and loved them. My brother sat in one and bought one for himself. A friend with whom I was camping sat in mine whenever he could, even though his was a more expensive chair. But now in spring 2018 the seat is ripping out of each of mine, one by one, three so far. The effort of getting up from the chair rips the seat down the middle, front to back. I weigh about 230, but the chair is rated for 300. Despite this failure I'm giving this chair three stars in support of the design, which I think is great, and in recognition of the fact that I left the chairs out from spring 2017 till now for use as outdoor furniture. Possibly the wet and sun deteriorated the fabric faster than it would have otherwise, although it didn't look it. I'll buy this chair again if I hear that the maker is using tougher material for the seat. I have not experienced the failing rivets or ripping bag issues that others have.
