Fresh, vibrant peony on a stream of rosewater

Gorgeous vibrant pink glass vessel. The fragrance has the freshness of the peony and the undertone of cool rose. It is slightly green, so it is not too sweet. Just lovely!

Waste of money!

I have tried multiple candle brands (Yankee Candle, Byredo, Diptyque, Voluspa, random brands from HomeGoods) and never have I had a "bad" candle until now. You could only smell the Peony when you stuck your nose inside the candle, otherwise it just smelt "burnt." There was a lot of tunneling of the wax, which I've never experienced from any other candle. Another flaw was the lack of lid/cover. For $75, this candle fell below expectations. I'm shocked by all the raving reviews. Maybe I got the one that was not QC'd but will be be staying away from Lafco candles for now.

Peony

This has a good permeation of scent once it is lit. The floral is intense, which I appreciate, and while there is a rosey-tinge it is still peony forward.

Disappointed

This was my first Lafco candle and it will probably be my last. I thought I was purchasing a candle that I could smell at least in one room when lit. The only time I smell the scent is right up close to it. The pink glass is very pretty though.

I’ve been in love with LAFCO candles since we stayed at the Fearrington Inn for our anniversary over ten years ago. Both the fragrant scents and the hand blown container made quite a memorable impression. We left with 4 different candles and the rest is history. What draws me to this candle is the array of light notes that leave their special scent in my memory without being anything but perfect. I have come to find so many different and fun ways to reuse them, one of my favorites is to make an arrangement from my flower garden as a thank you or just to brighten someone’s day. Although this was labeled a powder room candle, I like to keep the smaller size in my bedroom, especially during the colder months, as it reminds me that warmer weather is just around the corner and so will my peonies.

Smells divine

My MIO burns this candle all the time. It smells so good I had to sneak a picture of the bottom and go buy some for myself and family.

Pretty pink color!

Using this as a gift because my friend loves all things pink. The unlit scent seems very nice.

LOVE!

I usually buy the white grapefruit - beautiful bright yellow container. BUT the beautiful pink hued glass container caught my eye. The scent is very soft and pretty. A lot of florals can be overwhelming BUT Lafco gets it just right with the scents. The pink containers look beautiful next to the bright yellow ones all over my house. Happy and sunny and spring like.... I just started giving out this scent to my clients also - same feedback. Awesome!!!!! Thank You!!!!

The LAFCO line is all I buy! It’s throughly my entire home in every single room. I love coming home and truly love the constant compliments of everyone that steps inside!

Perfect Scent for Powder Room

This scent smells amazing! The scent description on this website is spot on. It is a very floral scent but feels very fresh. I personally use it in my powder room and just like other LAFCO candles, this one does not disappoint!

Peony

I literally move this candle a rebound the house with me. My bedroom, bath, office I love the soft scent- don’t get me wrong this candle has a great throw- it’s the subtle peony scent that quickly fills the room . The pink jar is beautiful

Uplifting

I received this candle the other day, when I opened up the box the candle smelled really fresh and uplifting without it being lit. when I lit it the living room where I had it, the fragrance really filled the room with the elegant peony and other notes. The best part was, it was not too overpowering to make you run out of the room or put the flame out . LAFCO creates and makes high quality products and I will buy other products in the future to try for myself as well as gifts to friends and family.

Only 2/3 usable?

What a bummer! Almost 1/3 of my candle wax is still at the bottom (nearly a full inch) but the wick is already burnt out to the bottom plastic end. Would NOT recommend at full price!! Can’t believe how much is left. Also disappointed I can’t add a pic on here to show it. Do not buy this candle at full price!!! Smells fantastic but doesn’t last as long as it should

Duchess Peony is the most wonderful scent! And gorgeous glass...!

I received this as a generous gift and it is by FAR my favorite scent of Lafco...!!!! I am buying more now. I am extremely sensitive to fragrances, most of theirs I can't have in my home, but this one is absolutely divine...!

Lafco florals are fresh and light.....perfect

I bought the duchess peony for a gift and she loves it. Lovely floral scent and of course the beautiful glass vessel it comes in is perfect to use as a vase when the candle is gone. Love Lafco candles, especially the florals in their collection.
