Didn't Last A Day

I have similar bowls I've been using for years. Stainless steel with a rubber bottom. This says dishwasher safe, so I put it in the top rack with the other bowls that I've had for years. The old ones were fine, this one was ruined in the first wash. If you want sturdy ones that can actually go in the dishwasher, find a different brand.

Good Metal, cheep permanently-molded rubber ring on the base

The "permanently-molded rubber ring on the base of the bowl " is terribly cheep deteriorating something NOT RUBBER. its junk. MY FINGERS TURN BLUE! when this material gets wet, so it IS deteriorating. We dishwasher wash these bowls and obviously they cant take the abuse. The metal is of a good quality and gauge. I'm actually looking into finding some acid to burn this material off of the bottom of the bowls, like i said the metal bowl is worth saving.
