It is perfect for what I needed, a small BBQ for one or two people to cook on. Great size.
Awesome grill, very sturdy.
Perfect size for day and camping trips, along with easy disposal of ashes to keep area clean.
I bought this to turn it into a coffee bean roaster. It worked fantastic for that. I could see it being equally functional as a charcoal grill. I turned the one I bought into a gas burning roaster. I have had it for 4-5 months and it works great for my purpose. It is sturdy built, with many features that set it apart from other barrel grills I researched. I would buy it again.
Easy to put together, easy to clean. Just the right size.
Would have given 5 stars, but both carry handles were bent out of shape so badly, they were unusable. BUT--- 5 stars to Dyna-Glo customer service, they responded quickly and sent me two new handles which worked perfect. Grill works great, but I did add a temp gauge to the lid-- for peace of mind while cooking. NOTE to Dyna-Glo: make handle attaching screws 4-8mm longer, 12mm is too short!!
Very well made
A little heaver then expected. But that's a good thing. It should last for years. Even cooking and heat control. The slide out charcoal tray makes it very easy to add charcoal as needed. The deal air flow vents control burn rate and temperature. Great little grill.
It retains heat well, so you can use less charcoal. Like the way the hood works. Also easy to clean out the ashes.
Solid construction well designed will last for many years
The grill works extremely well-I love it
[Rewarded Review] Table top grill
This table top grill is the perfect companion for tailgating. Easily transported but still large enough to fit a bunch of food. Temperature is easily controlled with vents on the side and can be used to cold smoke food to by keeping vents closed and using a tube with pellets. You won’t regret this grill, even with its short stature it will deliver big results.
[Rewarded Review] Great Little Grill and Smoker Box
We were excited to get our new Dyna-Glo Portable Tabletop Charcoal Grill. Perfect size for camping or for a small backyard/patio. Putting it together was about 20 minutes for one person. Basically just some nuts and bolts. The welding appears strong (see photo). It has a vent on each side of the grill, which is very nice for temp control. You can easily fit a package of hot dogs or five to six burgers. We used a starter block to heat up some coals for pre-seasoning, (as suggested in the instructions). If you are going to do something like this and pile your coals high you will want to pile them inside the grill and not on the pull out tray. There is not a lot of height to slide the charcoal and tray back into the grill (see photo). That pull-out tray sure does make dumping the ashes easy. A big bonus for us is that it is going to attach to our larger charcoal grill and be used as a smoker box. We currently have one attached that is worn out big time. Although we can't name the brand in this review, it is not a Dyna-Glo and yet it is compatible. So if you are looking for a replacement smoker, check this out. Happy Grilling (or Smoking)!
[Rewarded Review] Great little grill!
Super easy to put together, only problem I had was at one point I went to move my hand while putting the grates in and the lid was sharp enough to so slice across my hand. The grilling grates are heavy duty, great for heat retention. The placement of the vents allowed for easy adjustments to the cooking temperature. We were able to fit 8, quarter pound burgers on at once. The grill heated fast and retained consistent temperature with minimal attention.
[Rewarded Review] Decent with several design flaws
A decent little grill. Has a few quirks to be aware of but can be overcome without much effort if your not too picky. I highly recommend following the directions and do a full cook to season and set the paint so plan ahead. Will take about 3 hours. Mine had chemical smell the first time I used it from the paint fyi. Wasn't present on 2nd cook.
[Rewarded Review] Great grill to travel with
Dyna-Glo Portable Tabletop Charcoal Grill in Black, this is my second one of these grills, first one lasted many years. I replaced it because I left my old one for years and the grills got rusty. It takes minimal tools to assemble, probably a 30 minute job. The instructions are easy to follow, the longest part of the assembly is the half hour of seasoning time to burn off all the shipping and storage oils it is shipped with. Great idea having the charcoal grate slide out to add more or add wood chips to flavor your food. Works good for me as it takes up little space under the rv, but it is a good quality charcoal grill to cook on. Works just right on a campground picnic table.
