I have owned a Mr. Steam for approx nine years and it still runs great. I experienced an issue with the Tempo controller like one of the previous reviewers noted. The problem was not with the controller. The problem was that the electrician who wired the unit had not tightened one of the large guage wires to the steam unit tight enough. When this wire was tightened the controller worked great and the steam generator has performed flawlessly for all these nine years. I think they make a great unit.
Best unit around
Mr. Steam steam generators are sturdy and work well. The units wear well and tech support is excellent. I have installed Mr. Steam in three homes and am getting ready to install a unit in a new home. Spendy, but worth the extra $$$ based on longevity and trouble free operation.
