The EAST OAK Fuoco Smokeless Fire Pit was a quite nice addition to our outdoor patio area. At 21", it is large enough for a comfortable fire on chilly autumn evenings, as well as at a campsite without being too large.

It's nice when you get a product that you can tell had actual engineering and thought put into it. I got this for small backyard bonfires and to reduce my growing burn pile without smoking out the neighbors. Not only was everything well packaged and easy to put together, it performed like a champ from the first fire. Air circulates right through and really distributes heat well, making it easy to light and keep fires going. The bottom tray is super easy to remove and clean out. Every detail contributes to what this product was intended to do, and it makes a real difference.

I have loved my East oak 17" first pit since I first ordered it in Dec. 2022. It's the perfect size for frequent backyard fires that are well contained -- perfect for my small poolside patio. It is exactly as advertised -- smokeless and easy to use! Unfortunately, the humid seaside air here in the Tampa Bay area wreaked havoc on the ash pan insert -- rusting it terribly. So I emailed East oak -- almost 2 full years after purchase (I wasn't sure if I was even under warranty) -- and they responded quickly saying they'd send me a brand new replacement ash pan! It arrived yesterday -- which means its time for anotehr fire! I honestly don't know of too many companies who are so willing to stand behind their products like this. So thank you, East Oak! You're good people for sure.

I purchased the previous version of this fire pit from East Oak in 2023. I loved it and ordered the cover that could be purchased to place on the top. It allowed it to double as a table when not in use. We got the 21" version and soo n realized it had a tendency to send the occasional burning amber sparking out. It has burned wholes in my outdoor rug and couch-ottoman. The company offered a screen at one point through Walmart but the company does not acknowledge it. I have written the company and they insist that its in the "design phase". That was 6 months ago. I cannot order any of the alternative screens because they all support a round opening. The East Oak opening is oval. Now, they have come out with this other version the Fuoco Fire Pit. It doesn't even have a cover available for it no less a spark screen. It is simply irresponsible for East Oak to come out with products and do not provide the needed accessories.

First of all this fire pit far exceeds the size of any competitive one on the market. It makes it super easy to lay in logs and start a fire of any size. The only down side, is it takes a little longer to heat up than a smaller smokeless pit to develop that venturi effect.. Tip: Put a few pellets around where you are lighting the fire and it will heat up much faster.

I just got this in 2 days ago. That night I tried it for the first time. A couple years ago I bought a normal fire pit. I only had used it twice in the past years as it was hard to get a fire going in it. it sits covered on my patio. I went out the other night with my new 17 inch East Oak. I put a small paper bag and 4 pieces of kindling in and lit it. within 2 minutes it was burning like a charm. Put several splits on it and had a great campfire going. So easy to enjoy within minutes. I planned to use it last night, but a long thunderstorm ended those plans. Two years of my other fire pit sitting unused, and I was already looking forward to my second night with this new one. I even went a bought a bag of marshmallows for the first time in years. It burned for several hours on just the 3 splits and an unsplit 3 inch diameter chunk. I went out yesterday morning to do the excellent setup it has for the ash dump. It incinerates the wood into fine ash that is on a tray and pan that you pull out with the provided fire tool. You can pt it in a metal trash can, even though it was completely cold, or use it in compost. Came back and picked up the 13 pound base and dumped the trace amount of ash left out. At 72, bringing back the feeling of being 25 and sitting around a campfire that isn't a load of work to get going is priceless. To have that for less than $60, at the time. is worth every penny. On the East Oak site this is selling for $187! Hoping the weather cooperates tonight so I can enjoy a few toasted marshmallows again. Another great thing about this is I can easily put it in the trunk of my car with some wood and have a fire any place it won't get stolen before I can dump the ash the next morning.

East Oak has created an amazing product. I have previously owned the solo stove yukon and still have the campfire. So, I am speaking from experience. The 29" East Oak is a great product!!! I built my own gazebo with a black roof and black footings and the black 29"er is the perfect compliment. I just threw a large party and after hours we spent around the East Oak. That thing put off some serious heat! It is a unique design and I most appreciate the welded on legs. I certainly like NOT like having to buy a $149 dollar stand!!

I’ve used the name brand smokeless fire pits and this is not that. It doesn't create the necessary up draft to pull cold air in the bottom and around the outside to the top to create torches like the name brand ones. It’s got a ring that is supposed to help but I don’t notice the difference. Don't get me wrong, it's a great fire pit. It burns hot. It’s got an ash tray that makes cleanup a bit easier. I got a cover and a heat mat for it to keep it from roasting my lawn. You’ll want it away from anything flammable or meltable. I have to raise it up on boards to keep it from roasting my lawn. Black stainless looks great and keeps pretty clean. Mirror stainless would probably be easier to keep clean.

This was my first time ever being around a "smokeless" firepit, and honestly, I was a skeptic, to say the least. However, it really is no joke--after you get it really hot and going, this thing is as smokeless as it gets and puts off GREAT heat. The quality really surprised me as it is really well made and doesn't feel cheap at all. Everything about the unit, including the packaging it came in, looks really classy. This is definitely something you will be proud to leave out.

Literally my favorite thing to do in the afternoons now is throw some wood in the pit and watch how beautiful it lights up our patio. I would say I haven’t experienced the smokeless part yet but, potentially I’m not burning it hot enough to reach the second burn. Undeniably attractive in our backyard, modern design, puts off really nice heat and burns beautifully. So worth the money. We chose the black pit and the largest 29 inch. I was nervous that the black would peel off but we’ve been burning almost every night for a week and it’s been rather easy to clean and the black finish still looks nice! The dogs are a fan too

I purchase the stove in December 2022. Although there is a little smoke when starting the fire, it is virtually smokeless when it gets going. It puts out a lot of heat, but because the combustion air intake is in the center of the bottom, the surface it sits on stays cool. I have burned it for hours on my wood deck with no affect to the deck.

After first use, the firepit color changed from a beautiful stainless steel to a rose color and fingerprint stains are now visible on the surface. I've contacted East Oak customer service and I am awaiting their reply.

I’ve had mine for a year now and have used it enough to write a rating. I don’t have any remorse about this purchase. It burns wood thoroughly and smokeless as advertised. It heats the area well enough for 8 people.

This is an excellent fire pit so far. It came quickly and well packaged. I've used it a few times already. Lighting it is a breeze and the fires stay lit with plenty of airflow. The first few minutes will still have plenty of smoke, but once it gets hot, it really is nearly smokeless. If you start to see smoke again, it probably means it's time for another log. The fire burns extremely hot - you'll go through wood a bit faster because of this. The sides do get hot, so don't touch. Most of the heat is directed upward, but it still kept our legs warm. If your feet are on the ground, they may not get any heat. Overall, this has been a great purchase. Quality is every bit as good as Solo and it has some additional features like easier cleaning to go along with the lower price.

This fire pit exceeded our expectations! It burns extremely hot with very little smoke emissions. We could feel the heat radiating from 5-6ft away! The value of this pit is definitely worth it. It is easy to carry since it’s light weight and feels made of good quality. Customer service is also fast and friendly. I had an issue because I received two different models because I bought two. One was as a gift. They replied quickly and explained that they have upgraded their models but that they both operate equally. Amazon likely had an older model sitting on the warehouse. They weren’t wrong about the performance of each. Both pits are wonderful!!! The only difference noted between the two was the poker/tray remover and the mechanism by which the tray is removed. So my contact with customer service was only really, an inquiry. I highly recommend.

Light weight so it’s easy to move around but very sturdy. Only three pieces: the pit itself, the fire pan and the top ring which you can flip upside down “to save room.” It is about 3/4” tall. Very clear instructions for those that require them, bless your souls.

When I finally got my wood lit (older driftwood) there was some smoke which I believe was caused by the old wood quality.

Have wanted one of these smokeless fire pits for a long time. Went with this one because of the great reviews and it being an “Amazon Choice”. I was looking for something that 3-4 people can sit around and enjoy an evening in the yard and the 21” version of this seems to be the perfect size for that task. Wanted something that I could put in the garage when it’s cool and not be a permanent fixture in the yard that I’d need to mow around, and the pit seems to be small and light enough that I can store it when not in use. There is nothing to really assemble per say just unwrap the components and screw the fire poker together and it’s ready to burn! I did buy a 24”x24” paver at Menards to sit the pit on as not to burn the grass. The fire pit seems well-made and not flimsy. The paint quality is also very good as I opted for the black one. So far I’m pleased with the purchase!

As all of these smokeless fire pits the flame and heat goes straight up and there's very little radiant heat from the sides while sitting. This is more of a fire to watch and not feel....unless standing next to it, then you'll feel extreme heat. I read a review that said east oak gives heat from the sides too....that's bull. Not happening. My guests were inching closer to the pit in hopes to get warmth and failed. There seems to be black smoke that smells like hot metal or fuel....I hope this dissipates. The fire is HOT, the coals are HOT but it goes up to the heavens and away from those wanting warmth. Made well, looks nice, delivered fast. It's good for ambiance on a warm summer eve....not for the cold days. UPDATE: I can't express how amazed I am with customer service. They really listen to the customer and want to deliver a quality product....and this they do very very well. The stove is made exceptionally well and exceeds the price point. I get a lot of compliments on the stoves quality and interesting shape. Issues with the black smoke seems to have gone. After communications with East Oak I learned heat from the sides will be diminished on windy days....and this is true. So, the heat does not always go up to the heavens. ;)

nbsp;***Update*** I loved our 29" model so much but for smaller groups it is a little big. So I purchased the 21" model for smaller fires and to take camping with us. No regrets on purchasing two and now have the best of both worlds!
