It had a bad smell for a week. I had to air it out - keep the windows opened. Like turpentine/gasoline. it still has some odor.
WRONG CARPET SENT!!!
We are quite unhappy about the apparent intentionally incorrect carpet sent. Due to return policy, it appears this company is sending anything remotely close to that which was ordered. We are NOT happy with the color sent.

This rug is absolutely gorgeous and especially for the price its a bargain. I saw a review before I bought it that said their rug smelled? Mine didn’t I noticed it had like a new rug smell (like a new car smell) but it was super faint and its been a few weeks and its gone away. It wasnt anything bad either just smelt new. Anyways I love the rug so much its soft, big, and the sage color is gorgeous.

Looks good but smells horrible…
The rug looks great, but over two months later and it’s still letting off a very clear chemical smell. The first few days were unbearable, to the point where our eyes would water and we would get a headache after just a few minutes in the living room - Despite having every single window open. Now, it’s gotten to a point where we can air out the room and then it’s tolerable for around 1-2 hours. We’ve definitely learned our lesson and won’t be ordering anymore rugs online. If the smell doesn’t significantly subside in the next 1-2 months, we’ll have to change it out. Unfortunate given the price and otherwise nice looking design.

Very soft, classic look, adds dimension and class to the living room. The green is a bit lighter than in a picture but it is better that way.
