[Rewarded Review] Excellent Rug Pad

This bad boy really is non-slip. The hardest part was getting our rug to lay flat because once it touches the rug pad, it isn't moving. Easy to trim to edges with scissors to fit under the rug. It is plush and adds some nice softness to our rug. Very happy with the purchase.

I would not consider this a premium rug pad. It's too thin. Doesn't provide the comfort level I'm looking for. I didn't even take the package out of the packaging and I could tell it was very thin compared to a rug pad I have from a competitor company. Rug pad has been returned and I was charged a restocking fee which was annoying l. I won't be repurchasing from this company.

wrong size and very thin and cheap

First of all, this was the WRONG SIZE for the rug I purchased it with. I bought a 9x12 rug and this was recommended to buy with the rug. It was BIGGER than the rug! So it overhangs on two sides. Also, it is a glorified piece of felt. I would not call this a "rug pad" at all. It certainly isn't premium. This website is a scam. The return process is horrendous; Rugs USA sent 3 items in one large plastic wrap, but to return, I need to package each item individually, and they charge the customer for shipping, which is expensive. I will never recommend buying from Rugs USA, and I will never purchase from this website again.

We bought the pad because the website said 'yes, you need a pad.' The rug itself, as it turned out, stuck very well to our wood floor. The rug is indeed very thin, but we kind of wanted that because the main reason we bough it was to put under a desk and protect the floor from a rolling office chair. So, in that respect, thinner is probably better. Anyway, we put the pad down since we bought it, and it adds a little bit of cushion (but it still feels more or less like you're walking on a wood floor even with the pad). And, actually, the pad is less 'sticky' to the floor than the rug alone was (the bed and desk hold it in place, so it's not sliding). If we had it to do over again, however, we'd probably buy just the rug.

I’ve bought several of these rug pads from RugsUSA, and they’re terrific. The upper surface grips the rug, and the “daisies” on the bottom keeps the rug from sliding on my wood floor. Very easy to trim with scissors if necessary. The pad protects the floor, the rug, and most importantly, me. No one wants a fall from a rug that has slid out from under you. Add the reasonable pricing and free shipping, and you have a winner. This pad doesn’t make a “cushion-y” feeling, so if that’s your thing, try something else. But I’m very pleased.

Rug pad not effective

I purchased two rug pads to place beneath runner rugs in the kitchen and a bathroom on ceramic tile floors. Alas, the rugs and pads continue to dance around the floor. They do not stay in place so I would venture to say the recycled rubber composition does not grip the tile floor. The pad does add a little padding under foot if you don’t mind repositioning the rug often. I will not purchase this product again and do not recommend.

I did not think I would like the flatness of this rug but I have grandkids and my thick plush area rug could not take the scrubbing sometimes daily. So I had to opt for something I could wash in the machine. The color is just perfect with my living room. I do not have a true grey decor I am more greige girl. This rug just matches perfectly. So much better than I expected!!!!!!!!

[Rewarded Review] The Best Rug Pad

This rug pad does a terrific job of holding rugs in place and protecting the flooring underneath. It has tiny "grippers" that grab the rug and just a little "stickiness" on the underside to grip the floor. Do use a pad to prevent slipping from a throw rug and to extend the life of the rug. You can purchase this pad from many retailers. But RugsUSA's free shipping policy, prompt delivery, and excellent customer service makes me come back to them every time.

customizable, not very grippy

Love that rug pads are easy to cut to exact size needed; material is lightweight, slightly grippy on one side, rough (to stick to rug) on the other. Only complaint is that the grippy side still slides pretty easily on our hardwoods.
