The jelly cupboard is sturdy and relatively easy to finish. We ended up painting it, a primer coat plus two finish coats, and the final product looks very rich. Since this is a “knockdown” product that needed to be assembled, I found the graphical directions fairly simple to follow, and the assembly process straightforward. My only complaint is that the doors warped, and I was only able to get the magnetic latches on the bottom panel to contact the striker plates. There are pre-drilled holes for the door hinges, but two of the hinges had to be mounted in new holes to keep the doors from binding when opening and closing.

Cute and practical

Love this little cabinet. I use it for storing essential oils, first aid supples, and vitamins and its perfect for that purpose. Looks cute unfinished but could be stained or painted for a different look.

I was very skeptical to order a cabinet that needed to be put together. I love this cabinet, it went together really well except when attaching the door!!! The predrilled hole did not line up well enough for the door to close!! I did have to redrill and play around to get the door to close!!! But otherwise this is a great piece!! This price is not cheap , but the quality is good.

I was really excited to get this cabinet. When I opened it up it was packed very well and the quality of the wood was gorgeous. I stained the wood and it looked even better. When it came time to put it together, the door didn’t close properly. I had read that in several reviews prior to purchasing but just thought it could be user error. The door looked warped or improperly cut to size. This was extremely disappointing. It’s a beautiful cabinet but having the door close is the most important part and therefore I don’t recommend this cabinet.

Nice Solid Storage Cabinet.

Solid, Heavy storage cabinet. Will be very useful. Went together easily until putting on doors. Using hinge holes inside of cabinet would not line the doors up. Ended up attaching hinge to front and now doors line up and open perfectly. Now I just need to paint. Solid cabinets are hard to find.

Shipping was well beyond what was promised at checkout. Additionally, the tracking number through FedEx was useless, since it ended up being shipped directly from the manufacturer through Estes. Assembling was fine, but the pre-drilled holes for the door hinges were uneven enough on one side that the door is hanging at a clear angle, and two of the holes weren't visible once I had screwed in the other 2--I'll end up taking it off, drilling my own holes, and putting back on. One hinge screw broke off while screwing in, not ideal! Trading out the knobs to upgrade the cabinet.

I highly recommend this product to all who are looking for a kitchen storage cabinet. It is made of solid wood and not MDF. Or wood fill, not even cardboard or saw dust. There is no glue to smell. This product is hard solid wood. The instructions are very easy and straightforward, every part fits well in place, and the only one tool needed to help get it together is a small Phillips Screwdriver, everything else that's neaded is in the package. The shelves (two) are spaced out very well and are able to be adjusted. The other (one) shelf is fixed in place by screws and can be remove to make more room without any damages.

Excellent piece. Except VERY tip hazard. The wood is very heavy. I bought it to keep my instrument safe from new puppy. Almost a perfect fit. But the back is a whisper of a couple of pieces of wood so all the weight is in the front. When you open the very thick doors the whole cabinet comes forward. I have plates wedging the front legs to tip back. Finding something in this size is impossible and perhaps with the additional 2 shelves installed it would balance back more. The floor is carpeted which doesn't help. By the way, in the photo the interior color is gold velvet material not the unfinished wood. Also the size reads a little funny. It says the depth is 13", I needed 11", but with the doors closed you only get 10.5" of shelf space. I'm not attaching the plywood back completely on the backside so it still work for me. When it tells you the shelves are 10.5", they mean all the interior. But all in all this was very difficult to find and I highly recommend it especially with the tip guards which are included and specifically mentioned in the instructions.

Compact storage and well made!

This cabinet is very small. Read the dimensions carefully. I purchased it to go in a closet to store beach towels...that's not happening. You will see by the photo this is limited storage space. However, it is solid, super easy to put together and it is cute. It's is very compact and not to tall. Upon putting it together, and realizing the dimensions, it will be repurposed for craft supplies. In the meantime, the door will remain off in my office closet I gave it 5 stars because it is so well made and real wood

We were very pleased with this cabinet. We bought it to use in our utility room. The shelves were heavy duty enough for us to put canned food on for storage. We also added other items on the upper shelves that were not as heavy.

Great product, needs a little reinforcement.

I have bought a lot of furniture from this company. The quality is excellent. It is an assemble yourself product so the frame has some movement which frequently cause door misalignment. I like to set it up on a perfectly flat floor. Then use a steel triangular brace on each corner on the back. Makes it rock solid. I also use glue on the structural frame pieces. And if there is a still a little misalignment dont redo the hinge lovations. Shim the bottoms of the legs.

I love the look of the cabinet, and am leaving it natural until I can decide how I want to finish it. However, even though we followed the directions absolutely perfectly, the door won't stay shut. we removed and re did the hinges, and multiple other attemps and making it stay shut, but it continued to pop open. We solved the problem by making a wooden turn button to keep it shut. Not a huge deal. Love the cabinet, just disappointed in the final product.

Well packaged to prevent damage during shipping. Assembly is not difficult but due to the weight it helps to have a second pair of hands nearing the end of putting it together. Even though the screws have pre-marked (pinholes) for the hinges alignment can be tricky. I rested the doors on some of the packaging to support the weight while attaching the hinges. One of the doors needed some extra space at the bottom. I gained the needed clearance by loosening the bottom shelf attaching bolts, pushing down on the bottom shelf and wedging a piece of cardboard between the bottom shelf and the door. I retightened the bolts and removed the cardboard. Clearance problem cured.

Very sturdy cabinet. Real wood makes this a more authentic and functional piece. The back of this cabinet is wood panel. I wish it was real wood like the rest of the cabinet. There were no designated holes for the back panel. That would have helped with aligning to the back of cabinet properly. Also was missing the washers shown to screw in back wood panel. One of the doors keeps sticking at the bottom even though I drilled in the hinges at the designated holes. Because of the door that keeps sticking, the cabinet leans forward when trying to open it, making attaching this cabinet to the wall necessary. The wood took the paint color I used pretty well. I would purchase this item again and make alterations based on what I found this first time around.

Don’t waste your time or money.

This cabinet is sadly disappointing. It was just what I needed. Loved the unfinished wood. Good quality on some pieces. However, the door was warped, the hinge screws were too large to be countersunk as they should have been. Therefore the screws bumped into each other causing the door to jot close as it should have. We bought the appropriate size screws but since the door was warped it still wouldn’t close right. Sad. So very sad.

This was my second purchase of an International Concepts unfinished cabinet from Home Depot. They are good solid wood products that look very nice when the project is completed. They do take some work to put together and need 2 people for that. The rubberwood has an odor to it that is quite strong, and does not go away if the cabinet is finished with oils. Polyurethane is more effective on the odor. Painting would probably cover the odor even better, but that would lose the nice look of the natural wood. The cabinet is not very deep and the doors have some weight to them, so the unit can tip forward easily if not attached to a wall behind with the included hardware or some other "anti-tip" connector.

Great! Easy assembly and solid construction.

This cupboard was very solid wood, nicely sanded and easily painted. Construction went smoothly, the only issue was a slight adjustment to the hinge placement for visual appeal. I used a paint with primer in it in a semi-gloss. We love the look but a matte finish would be pretty too. I am attaching pictures.

Sturdy, well made little cabinet

This is a sturdy little cabinet. Well made, easy to put together. However, the holes on one of the side panels didn’t match up with the holes for the top of the cabinet. But, with a little bit of ingenuity, this snag was quickly concurred. I like that the back panel slides into the side panels as opposed to being nailed. The door is very sturdy and lines up perfectly. I highly recommend this cabinet if you are looking for storage for a small space.

The interior depth is overstated by approx 1.5 inches. The overall dimensions are right sized for a smaller space. So nice not to have flimsy particle board furniture! It will last more than a lifetime. Super happy with this item. Going to purchase the narrower single door cabinet also.
