Sorry to say very disappointed. Unit leaked in 3 places. Plugged 2 with putty but 3rd leak was seem between tank and bowl. Returned for 2 piece toilet.
Nice, but…
Nice toilet, but learned the toilet was not the one we thought we picked. There was a taller seat height available and did not know until after plumber installed. Apparently no returns apply once installed. So now we are stuck with a low sitting toilet.
I love this toilet
This is second unit I got from these guys and I love it. Shipping was fast and pricing is good too. Unit is great, water fills up fast and quiet and that's not typical with your lower end models from competition. I have to say their shipping is so good that if I need anything related to bathroom/plumbing I'm going back to them. Thank you
Looks nice; performance lacking
The toilet looks very nice, but the flushing mechanism is finicky and will frequently only “half flush” - maybe it’s me. It is also louder than I’d like when the tank is refilling. I’m having some buyer’s remorse. If I could could go back in time, I’d take a closer look at different models/manufacturers.
tilted top leads to potential damage.
i should not have ordered it. the top is not flat but slanted. a glass tissue container already slipped off and smashed to the floor when visitors used the commode.
Very nice compact 1-piece toilet for our small bathroom. Good flush. A tad lower than our previous one. Like the soft close lid.
No flush power
This is the worst toilet we have ever owned. We’ve had our contractor and a plumber look at it because of repeated clogging issues. The toilet has no flushing power. First and last Toto toilet we will ever purchase.
Water Leak in Tank of Toilet
There was a leak in BOTH the toilets that we bought due the valve being loose in the tank of the toilet. Thank God that we had our plumber available to help us install the toilet - otherwise the leak may have gone undetected and cause a lot of damage in our home. Please make sure you check the cap of the drain valve inside the tank to make sure it is tight before use.
Number 2 stick to the bowl every time
I am giving you a very honest unbias review. Don't fall for the "Cefiontect" thing because the number 2 will stick to the bowl every single time. I have a American Standard costs half the price and it does way better than this Toto in term of cleaning itself. It's not worth the price at all, Toto is ruining its reputation.
Very good product. It is very well made and very easy to install. The soft close lid keeps the lid and sit from slamming down which is a nice feature. It uses less water than the old toilet. It flushes at 1.28 gallons
Toto Ultramax One Piece.
I used to have to flush twice with "dual" flush toilets....this is a single flush that evacuates the entire bowl in one fell swoop!
BEST TOILET EVER
Easy delivery, No defects and No hassell. Best toilet Ever with less water used than ever, as I live in the golden state of California. I love the Fast flushing and the price was right.
I have only had the toilet for a few weeks but has worked flawlessly so far. It's pricier than the last toilet I purchased, but this Toto is replacing that one. I'm planning to buy two more of these toilets.
Does not clean the bowl after flushing.
I am disappointed in the toilet in a couple areas. One the bowl does not clean after flushing the toilet. This was to be a power flush. The second issue is that in less than 2 months I had to replace the filler assembly. Originally the filler valve would fill up and then an abrupt water hammer would sound and stop filling the bowl. The assembly stopped working properly after one month after installation. After reading some info on how to repair the issue, which identified the filler valve. The valve become clogged with something and the water was slow along with a hissing noise, coming from the toilet. The toilet filled very slow and took 8-10 minutes to fill a 1.6 gallon bowl.
New Totos
We have installed these Ultramax Toto toilets in every house for twenty years. Finally got around to replacing the current sad fixtures. Perfect fit to the Toto bidet seats that we've also had for twenty years.
This toilet's flush system is similar to Kohler's, not the system used by top of line TOTO. The item description should have more photos of the bowl so buyer know what flush system is used. The finish is good and so make it easy to clean. The toilet came with toilet seat mounting hardware missing but TOTO send me a replacement after I email them.
Great Toilet
It's exactly what we were looking for...a chair height toilet. The one piece clean lines is also very attractive and makes it easier to keep clean. It also flushes with a lot of power for a low-flow toilet. It was pricey but we are very pleased.
Good Toilet
The product itself seems to work well. However, I would NOT opt to have Lowe's to install. The plumbers that came to install did not properly install the toilet and water started leaking the floor/ceiling of my downstairs neighbor's condo. We had to hire another plumber to come and install it properly.
I like the look...and the fact that there's no place between the tank and seat for "dirt" to accumulate...I also like the 16" seat height. So many toilets are being made higher these days, but I'm not a fan of dangling feet when I'm on the toilet Haven't had it for long. Have not had any issues yet. It "is" a 1.28 gallon flush which I like...but I'm still getting used to. It almost sounds like it's not going to be enough to empty the toilet, but so far it has been.
Nice "look"...Nice "height"...Uses less water...
I really like the look of this toilet. A nice upgrade over my old one. I also like the "standard" seat height (16") and the fact that "dirt" has nowhere to hide between bowl and tank. I'm still getting used to the 1.28 gal flush. I like that it saves water. It just "sounds" like it might not get the job done...but so far no problems there. The photo here shows a heated toilet seat (purchased separately).
