No flush power
This is the worst toilet we have ever owned. We’ve had our contractor and a plumber look at it because of repeated clogging issues. The toilet has no flushing power. First and last Toto toilet we will ever purchase.
Water Leak in Tank of Toilet
There was a leak in BOTH the toilets that we bought due the valve being loose in the tank of the toilet. Thank God that we had our plumber available to help us install the toilet - otherwise the leak may have gone undetected and cause a lot of damage in our home. Please make sure you check the cap of the drain valve inside the tank to make sure it is tight before use.
Number 2 stick to the bowl every time
I am giving you a very honest unbias review. Don't fall for the "Cefiontect" thing because the number 2 will stick to the bowl every single time. I have a American Standard costs half the price and it does way better than this Toto in term of cleaning itself. It's not worth the price at all, Toto is ruining its reputation.
Very good product. It is very well made and very easy to install. The soft close lid keeps the lid and sit from slamming down which is a nice feature. It uses less water than the old toilet. It flushes at 1.28 gallons
Toto Ultramax One Piece.
I used to have to flush twice with "dual" flush toilets....this is a single flush that evacuates the entire bowl in one fell swoop!
Does not clean the bowl after flushing.
I am disappointed in the toilet in a couple areas. One the bowl does not clean after flushing the toilet. This was to be a power flush. The second issue is that in less than 2 months I had to replace the filler assembly. Originally the filler valve would fill up and then an abrupt water hammer would sound and stop filling the bowl. The assembly stopped working properly after one month after installation. After reading some info on how to repair the issue, which identified the filler valve. The valve become clogged with something and the water was slow along with a hissing noise, coming from the toilet. The toilet filled very slow and took 8-10 minutes to fill a 1.6 gallon bowl.
This toilet's flush system is similar to Kohler's, not the system used by top of line TOTO. The item description should have more photos of the bowl so buyer know what flush system is used. The finish is good and so make it easy to clean. The toilet came with toilet seat mounting hardware missing but TOTO send me a replacement after I email them.
Great Toilet
It's exactly what we were looking for...a chair height toilet. The one piece clean lines is also very attractive and makes it easier to keep clean. It also flushes with a lot of power for a low-flow toilet. It was pricey but we are very pleased.
Good Toilet
The product itself seems to work well. However, I would NOT opt to have Lowe's to install. The plumbers that came to install did not properly install the toilet and water started leaking the floor/ceiling of my downstairs neighbor's condo. We had to hire another plumber to come and install it properly.
I like the look...and the fact that there's no place between the tank and seat for "dirt" to accumulate...I also like the 16" seat height. So many toilets are being made higher these days, but I'm not a fan of dangling feet when I'm on the toilet Haven't had it for long. Have not had any issues yet. It "is" a 1.28 gallon flush which I like...but I'm still getting used to. It almost sounds like it's not going to be enough to empty the toilet, but so far it has been.
Nice "look"...Nice "height"...Uses less water...
I really like the look of this toilet. A nice upgrade over my old one. I also like the "standard" seat height (16") and the fact that "dirt" has nowhere to hide between bowl and tank. I'm still getting used to the 1.28 gal flush. I like that it saves water. It just "sounds" like it might not get the job done...but so far no problems there. The photo here shows a heated toilet seat (purchased separately).
So far toilet works very well. Flush seems short perhaps due to low flow water requirements. So far it has not been tested to limits but it seems to work well.
A really comfortable seat
I never thought I’d be so impressed with the comfort of a toilet. It literally hugs your butt when you sit and no more losing feeling in my legs after sitting. I liked it so much, I bought another one for my master bathroom. Also, it looks great and everything works like it should.
I never received the product (came in broken). Store reordered but used store credit without my knowledge. Second one came in broken as well. Trying to get refund but because store reordered as store credit they claim they can not issue refund to my credit card. So essentially Home Depot stole $522.84 from me.
Have had a month and am happy with this toilet. Replaced a 25 year old one. Flushes very efficiently with small amount of water. Love the one piece construction for cleaning. Stays clean looking a long time and I finally cleaned the bowl after about 10 days. Didn’t really look dirty, but want to keep it that way. Gets heavy use in a downstairs powder room. Nice size for a small room. Only thing I didn’t realize was the top of the tank lid is not completely flat and I like to set a box of tissues there, but it does still work.
Lovely looking, low profile, and works great
MS85411E. Toilet works great. Easy to clean and has a non-stick coating--so I avoid acidic cleaners. I am overall very happy with my purchase. Tank lid held on with velcro which I'd never seen before, but not a deal breaker. I did have to change the seat to another brand because this one slid back and forth sideways on the hinge axle with no way to adjust or tighten. Also, the underneath of the toilet seat had lots of nooks and crannies making cleaning difficult.
Replaced an older Toto with this unit and so far, it has been without issue. One thing to note is that the waxless seals do not work with this toilet (one was the blue Fluidmaster version, the other was red). I bought two versions and the horn on the toilet was a little too large for the seal to encircle easily. Called Fluidmaster in California and was told that certain Toto's and another brand, I can't remember whom, won't properly fit this waxless seal and that the toilet will rock and it will need to be shimmed. Opted for an oversized wax ring and have had no problems. Toilet flushes great, does what it needs to do and uses less water. Good product.

The tank emptied right out of the box. Set the toilet, attached the water line, filled with water. Within 5 minuets the tank was empty. Added food coloring to the refilled tank. Again 5 minutes the bowl was dyed water. Called customer support they will replace the valve. It's a toilet for god sake it needs to work right away and not leak. Shame is I bought two of these toilets thinking they were quality. One was $400.00 the other $500.00 Move on Save your time and money buy ANOTHER BRAND.
Does NOT flush well
I have had this toilet, installed by Lowes, for about a week. VERY Disappointed. The top part of the bowl is not flushed at all .. ridiculous and horrible. This is an expensive toilet, and doesn't really flush. There is no flush action to the top parts of the bowl, so any splashes there have to be cleaned manually EVERY TIME!!! Avoid this model!!!!!
Hard to set
Do not buy. I have nothing but problems with this expensive toilet. Two years later and I've decided to just buy a new two-piece toilet. Stay away from one piece toilets. Not worth the hassle. Leak after leak. I thought a one-piece would have less leakage problems because of no seperate tank. Worst decision ever.
