They actually had it in stock. not like other companies that take your order then have to order it from the manufacturer. Unfortunately Hansgrohe tries to keep their prices the same for all distributors so that takes the ability to shop for a good price. But Build.com did NOT inflate the price so I feel comfortable with their price. Their shipping was great. Had it in 3 days.

The rough in valve is supposedly the best, but these trim kits arent as high end as I thought they would be The plate is plastic. And apparently you cant put a Kohler or Moen trim on a Hansgrohe rough in valve. As far as functionality it works perfectly. It would be nice if this was all metal to have a better solid feel and if they could be available in decorative styles. But for now this does what it is suppose to do.

Works very well. For those wondering yes it includes many different little "icons" to identify the positions. Well worth the money. Cleans easily and shows zero oxidation even after being under very hard water. No leaks. Install was easy. Pretty much matches Moen brushed nickle if you want to mix and match fixtures.

plastic inside

The handle just fell out within 10 days of use. Very very disappointed. The outside is very nice quality brushed nickel trim but very cheap plastic inside.

Only Two of Three Diverter Options Work well

I don't know if it was my plumber's fault or the product, but only two of the three diverter options (rain shower, hand shower, or both) really "clicks" in when you select it. The third diverter (both) doesn't click in and you have to sort of just put the handle in a middle area for it to work. I will have to call Hansgrohe and find out if this is a Hansgrohe defect or if my plumber stunk it up. I know the plumber expressed that this was a difficult install.

Advertises as chrome however they fail to mention the housing is cheap plastic. All for a $1200 kit???
