High quality door, but very difficult to install. Each glass panel is over 100 lbs. was lifting the fix panel into place after reading the instructions and watching the videos several times and it shattered into 1000 pieces. Cost $500 to replace. Had three different installation quotes and each company refused to install it after they saw the installation instructions. Too heavy, too ackward, too much risk when trying to install. Had two other people helping. Thankfully no one was seriously injured. If I had it to do over I would have purchased a much simpler (and less expensive) shower door.

DANGEROUS ... 3rd INCIDENT reported in 2024

Package contains 2 doors that arrive in good condition. Once contractors lifted one of the panel to dry fit in the shower, before the installation, the door literally EXPLOADED sending shattered glass flying all over the place and leaving contractors all cut up. This is the 3RD time in 2024 customers reported such incident. Then Lowes of Coral Springs FL and VIGO gave me the run around. No one wanted to reimbursed the door until I told Lowes they will be liable for more than the doors only. Indeed, Lowes keeps selling that product while several incidents have been brought up to their attention. In the end, Lowes reimbursed everything except the delivery fees...I would never ever buy a VIGO product in my life and I will stop shopping at Lowes

These doors are heavy and sturdy, and look very nice. But the doors have been in for two days, I haven't even showered in my new shower yet, and already there is some damage to the black finish on the pole where the rollers roll. The finish is a little scratched and I can see the silver underneath. So I'm concerned about the finish long-term.

This shower door is absolutely beautiful and very high quality. I like the thickness of the glass, and the heft of the rollers and support beam. It did take our professional installers a bit longer than they anticipated to install but it was straightforward. Because the glass is heavy, I think it was a bit unwieldy, so definitely required two people. It slides smoothly and has water protectors that will help reduce leaking. It stays open when it's open and closed when it's closed, doesn't roll. It also has a little track at the bottom which will help prevent it from swinging back and forth too much. Not all the doors we looked at had that feature. This door is way better than we even hoped. The delivery team was very careful as well, the younger guys on the team started to lean it against a sconce and the supervisor made sure they propped it up in a way that didn't damage our house.
