I would not buy again

The first rug that was delivered was the wrong color. I had to call customer service to return, roll this huge rug back up, wrap in plastic again so it could be picked up by UPS. Now the rug they sent is wet and seems to have mud or dirt on the back. Too much of a hassle to return again. I will have to try to clean it. I will not buy large area rugs from here again

I received the carpet, nicely rolled and packaged, which flattened nicely pretty quickly. I like the somewhat subdued but nicely highlighted colors, it is much more vivid than in the photo. I am very happy with my purchase and my purchase more to place in other rooms.

Even though this rug arrived in good time, the colors didn't really match up with what I wanted so I did return it. There was nothing wrong with the rug except that it still wouldn't lay flat after 3 days. It was pretty thin so the sides rolled up and it was easy to trip over. I imagine after laying in one area for a much longer period of time it would eventually lay more flat all the way around

Disappointing

I was excited to receive this item. Very reasonable price, appropriate for my foyer. I laid the carpet out so it could settle after being rolled up. My husband questioned dark areas of the carpet and my son asked why are there wet spots on the carpet I told them when it settled they would go away, well they didn’t. Unfortunately I’m returning the carpet.

Beautiful…but

Stiff and wrinkled. So far I have not been able to get the wrinkles out. Purchased a pad that grips the rug in hopes it will help. If not back it goes. Contacted JCP no help.

I purchased this rug to use as an office chair floor protector since it does not have a rubber backing that will stick to the floor. It is the perfect size and I like the pattern and vibrant colors. It works great as a floor protector and would recommend it over a plastic shield which curls up and breaks over time.

This rug is spectacular. The colors are very vibrant. It’s not thin and cheap looking. It feels lush under your feet. It’s the second rug of this type I purchased from Overstock. The best part was the price. Highly recommended

Beautiful rug but smells super chemically. Left it to air out on our porch for 2 weeks before putting it in my daughters room. It still emitted such a powerful smell that the whole room smelled like it.

Our rugs are perfect - a beautiful addition to our new home!

Our Royalty Red/Ivory 5x7 and 8x10 rugs were delivered well packaged and rolled. Some had complained that their rugs took awhile to flatten, but ours were totally flat after two days. The color is a dark red, just as illustrated, and just as we wanted. The backing is sturdy so they don't skid or need rug pads and are soft if you walk on them barefoot. Everyone says they're beautiful, and we think they're a perfect addition to our new home.

I love my rug use it in my art studio

This rug is perfect for what I needed it for. I use in in my art studio and it is perfect. However, it is a very thin rug and would not say it would be good for high traffic areas. However even though it is thin the pile is close together which makes it seem more expensive than it is. If you want to put it on top of a carpet under a table I would say it would be perfect. The color is absolutely gorgeous. When you first take it out of the plastic it has a polyethylene smell that is pretty strong. But after having it a couple of months I hardly notice it. A little fabric spray will help with the ordor. All in all very pleased. In fact I bought a second one for the other side of the room.

Gorgeous rug! The photo does not do it justice! Very good quality. Feels like velvet to walk on. The edges are well made, unlike some of these rugs that always fray at the corners. Another plus was that when rolled out, it wasn’t full of tight ridges which takes weeks to settle down.

INCORRECT COLOR AND DESIGN NOT MATCHING IMAGE

The colors in the carpet I received weren't very good. They were faded and not as pretty as the colors in the picture. (The background was more orange-garnet than it was garnet.) And the edges of the design features were blurred. If I didn't have a real need for a carpet when I ordered this, I would have sent this back. What CAN be said for this carpet is that it's inexpensive. (Another reason I didn't send it back was because I had problems with delivery. The weather during the week the rug was to be delivered, was very rainy and snowy. I was told and assured it would be delivered on a Thursday when I was home. It was only at the last minute that I was told the delivery would be switched to Wednesday when I wasn't home. I tried to straighten this out with Home Depot service, and they said --- actually assured me --- they would switch the delivery back to Thursday. It was eventually delivered on Wednesday, and both it and the pad I ordered were wet. These are both indoor items!)

I love the colors. I didn't give it 5 stars due to rug is a little darker than expected. I bought it for my tiny entry and it looks great. It coordinates with my fur6and accessories perfectly. The shipping was fast and rug came in great condition. It is not a high quality rug but for the price and area I am using it for, it works great. I tried vacuuming it with a high rug setting and no shedding. My photos make the rug look a bit lighter than it is but you can see the colors.

No regrets!

If you are expecting a thick pile, plush, expensive carpet, keep looking...this is not the rug for you. Look at the price and rethink those expectations. But if you want an inexpensive rug with a nice overall look, then look no further; this is the one. I use rugs like this at the back door and at the bathroom sinks. SoSo but not too bad.

I was looking for a Persian/Oriental style area rug for my living room. I wanted something that also has a light base color to it. After looking at the pictures of this rug on walmart.com, sort of decided to take a chance and order it. I am glad I didn't pay any more for it than I did or I would have been disappointed, as the base color is darker than I really wanted. (The picture on the website of the rug by itself is probably the most accurate. However I relied on the one where they had it displayed with furniture and the base color looked a lot lighter which is what I wanted.) I wish I had known before I ordered it that the base color was as dark as it was. However, due to the hassle of trying to return it and a Wal-Mart associate saying that even if it says "Sold by Wal-Mart" that 3rd party venders still can get in and sell under the walmart.com title, then I may not be able to return it to the store.

Lovely rug!

I am very happy with this rug. We put it in our dining room to replace an old stained rug (stained because of puppy accidents). Fortunately, our dog has outgrown that. However, I'm confident that this rug would hide stains better. It is a lovely rich burgundy color - not as red as I thought it would be- but I'm still pleased with the color. With a dog and two cats in our house, I was also extremely pleased with the price for such a large size. Other rugs in this size are easily several hundred dollars more, but if our pets do ruin this rug I won't be as upset as if I'd spent a fortune. However, I think it looks as though I'd spent a fortune- it doesn't look cheap at all. It is also very soft in texture. My one complaint (and for me is minor) is that it is not very thick. I would definitely recommend this rug!
