Door spontaneously exploded

I’ve had no problems with this door until last night when it spontaneously exploded. Thankfully no one was in the bathroom at the time. It was purchased/installed in 2020 so essentially new!!! I have no idea how this could possibly happen as it wasn’t damaged and rolled fine. Until it came tumbling down for no reason.

Don’t Buy

This shower door sent me to the Emergency room last night. Just getting out of the shower without any pressure or accident the shower door suddenly exploded on me. It was installed for about two years. This is a major problem with the manufacturer. Be warned. I see from other reviews this is not the first time. They should be recalled!

It was frustrating to level and square up the door to the wall.

This shower enclosure was one of the more expensive ones I looked at. And the quality shows! It is gorgeous. The glass is very heavy and runs smoothly on the track. I feel like I am in a spa shower.

Just a few things a buyer should know:

This door does NOT have an inside handle. I think there should be one.One side of the sliding door is permanent - it does not slide. Therefore you can only enter the shower from one side. With a 44-48” space, the entry width is small.The two slider doors will probably overlap. You want to install these so that you can access the overlapped area to clean the doors. My installer put them too close and a squeegee doesn’t fix .
