Put soap on the screw threads, a rubber mallet...

Well-made, nicely finished, easy to assemble. It's important that the screws fit "tightly" rather than loosely, so screwing them in is made much easier (DIY hint) by scraping the threads of the screw on a bar of hand soap. The short hex key is appropriate, too, so you do not over-tighten the screws and strip the threads. Finally, use a rubber mallet to sink the plugs in the holes so you don't mar the finish. I appreciate the plastic pads on the bottom of the legs to slide easily on the floor.

Seat is great. If you have a drill and the right size Allen wrench drill bit, use it. It’s too much on the hand to get it.

First off, I have to say I am a total klutz when it comes to putting items together. The stool was so easy. Initially, the hardware was not included in the box. I sent an email to the manufacturer two days later I had the hardware. Fantastic customer service. The stool is very sturdy. I use it in my bathroom to put make up on and it is the perfect height.

too hard to put together... why doesn't the store have them in stock already assembled? Elderly people can not assemble them.

NOT THRILLED

One of the two stools I bought had been opened and resealed. It was slightly damaged but I kept it anyway. Products should not be sold as new if they were previously opened and returned.

Perfect stool

I needed a stool for an awkward spot at my island and this stool was just what I was looking for. The stool was easy to put together. Once I had it put together the stool was very sturdy. I have had no issues out of the stool.

I’m very happy with my new stool it’s been perfect for me. I have no issues with the assembly and it’s perfect for what I bought the stool for at my house.

This wooden stool was great for my granddaughter to sit on at my counter every time she come over. Its the perfect hight for her and its nice and smooth wooden finish. So no splinters. Yay its nice and sold too

Nice stools but difficult to assemble. Pre drilled screw holes too small. Had to redrill.

Simple and sturdy!

This stool is simple in style and form, but it is sturdy. It was easy to put together. It does not rock and sits flush with the floor. It is heavy enough that it has a nice solid feel where you don't feel like you will tip over.

I love this store. Hey Siri is the purpose. I can send at any time. I keep it in my kitchen so I can sit down when I’m tired from cooking and I love it just what I needed. The word is strong and it’s a nice color.

Sturdy

I love this stool. It’s so convenient to have around. I use it as a side table honestly on the side of my couch. I like how it’s wood and I have some wooden items around my house that are the same color as the stool so it goes perfectly with my home.

It was not so much the quality of the bar stools but your ridiculous return policy. I had tried to match the stools to my cabinets, only opened one box of 4 to see if they were a match and when they weren't, attempted to return only to find at 31 days (instead of 30) I received a store credit. I will never buy another item from Home Depot due to the return issue.
