Concrete top kitchen island

I have been looking online at this item for over a year. It's not available in a showroom and with the price it was taking a gamble if I'd like it site/touch unseen. Overall, it doesn't disappoint. There are a couple things to improve. Better door and drawer closings- soft close and a better magnet for the double door system. Also- the top is concrete. I have concrete counter tops in my kitchen. The counter top with the island is VERY easy to scuff/scratch. It seems painted over but I can't be sure. I was very disappointed that it's very easy to damage the top. I have the warranty, but I don't want to call and set up a fix because it's so easy scuff/scratch I'd have someone in my house frequently I feel. Otherwise it's well crafted and beautiful. With the countertop being less than I expected I feel the price is a little high. Otherwise I am pleased with the rest of the island.
