One of two bought has a slow but constant drip

As a long-time Delta user, I didn't hesitate to order two of these faucets and find them fine for my purposes; however, I lowered the rating due to one of them having a constant drop of water on the bottom of the aerator. If it drips, it's VERY slow, but I wonder how long it will take for the aerator to become scaled up due to the constant drop of water. The faucets are otherwise very good, doing exactly what they are advertised to do.

Single handle bathroom faucet

I wish we had purchased this faucet a long time ago! It's so easy to use and it's attractive too. We weren't happy when the other one broke, but in the long run, it was a Blessing, as we are much happier with this faucet!!

Shut Off Problem

This faucet is nice looking and easy to install. It has a serious flaw in my opinion. You have to be really be carefully when turning off the water. Sometimes it will stay on unless you move the handle to the middle position when you turn it off. I got into trouble with my wife when she went into the bathroom and the faucet was running hot water and had been for hours. Buyer beware.

The impossible happened

I spent over a year and a half trying to locate an intermittent leak under the vanity sink. All the leaks I had experienced in the past under vanities were the waste... I changed the waste, I tightened the waste but nothing I did stopped the leak which I could never duplicate...It would leak and then it would not leak...after a year and a half I went to the stop the leak one more time and I noticed the water was not on the waste, but on the supply to the faucet...I pulled it out and discovered it was the source of the leak...New Faucets Don't leak...except this Delta faucet had leaked from the beginning. The leak was where the plastic supply line entered the body of the faucet...a methodology similar to Shark Bite fixtures...and it failed. Delta honored their warranty, but by giving me the same unit that had been faulty right out of the box...Also, when you experience a failure of this nature, you have to remove and replace the faucet as soon as possible. I never thought that a new DELTA product would fail RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!

Okay, but flimsy design under the sink

Okay, but flimsy design under the sink. I didn't like the three parts which connect the pin with the water drain/pop up stopper. Where cheap design. I hope it will last.

Easy install, looks great

I bought this to replace a cheap faucet that was in my daughters bathroom. This faucet comes with flexible supply hoses already attached, so it was super easy to install. Just have to drop it in and hook up one end of the supply lines.

New bathroom faucet

This is an attractive faucet, and a generally reliable brand. The installation was easy and the instructions were good. The included leads are a little too long for my cabinet, but they’re bendy, so I just looped them around a bit to make them fit. In my opinion, when it comes to faucets, aesthetics and function are the important qualities. Since the faucet is new I can’t review on the durability, but it is attractive and, so far, works fine.

Great faucet!

This is a great faucet and it was very easy to install! My husband was quite ill when our faucet started leaking so I installed it myself. I am a 63 year old woman who had never installed a faucet before. I've always been the plumbers helper who handed tools etc. This works well and I hope it last for many years to come!

Not "low-profile" as advertised

I need a low-profile faucet to allow clearance for the door of the medicine cabinet to pass above the faucet. I have 5 inches of clearance to work with. The specifications for this model said "Maximum Faucet Height (Inches) 4.8750." In this context, "maximum" actually refers to "minimum," because the specified height applies only when the handle is in its full down position. The optional ball knob is even higher.

faulty drain unit.

The facet looks and works fine, the problem I'm having is that the drain seems to a leak and we can't seem to correct it. I had this unit installed by a professional plumber and have had him come back three times to see if we could correct this problem with no luck. The plumber has recommended that I purchase a new drain to replace the one that came with this unit, and that's what I'm going to have to do.

Ok but...

Faucet is nice but the product did not include RP54899 spacers needed to tighten the faucet to the sink underneath. Looked online and those items cost about $45 for four, never saw where you could just buy two and they are not available at Lowe’s. The second item is the lift stop for sink drainage, it rubs on the sink underneath, I’m sure over time this will put a nice wear spot on the porcelain plus it was impossible to connect the plunger device properly with the clip because the plastic piece is triangular shaped and would not bend to put the clip on properly, for now the clip is behind the plastic triangular piece in order to keep it on. Very poor design. This was my first time installing a faucet, followed the instructions but they did not match with the product-the hot/cold water connectors were already plumbed with the screw and rubber o-ring/gasket and the tubing is gray plastic making it very difficult to maneuver onto the intake water supply.

Disappointing. It continually amazes me the lengths a company will go to shave a few dollars off of a product and charge what they do. Still (probably) a solid faucet, and the pre-attached lines do make installation faster, but not as solid as a product as they used to make.

Looks nice

Bought 2 of these to replace leaky old faucets. Installation instructions pretty good, but haven't been able to keep very small leak (where sink attaches to drain) on the one I've tried to replace. Hiring plumber is cost prohibitive for this relatively simple task. Using silicone as directed almost works, but any leaks obviously unacceptable. I'd give it 5 stars otherwise.

Not consumer friendly

Please Notice that it doesn't have a piece that extends down from the faucet part, that you can unscrew to clean the filter screen (like all the other faucets do). It takes a special tool that you have to get from Delta, to unscrew the aerator to clean it. This is not consumer friendly at all, especially if you have a well and have minerals/sediment that needs to be cleaned regularly. Plus does not have very good water pressure. Cannot recommend this item.

Simple yet elegant faucet

I was looking for simple yet elegant faucets and the Delta Classic fit the bill. The hardest part of the job was removing the old Delta faucets and pop-ups that had been in place 40 years because of rust and corrosion. Once they were out of the way the new installation was a breeze and the faucets look great! The handle action is smooth and the overall quality is great. I opted for all metal pop-up drains instead of using the included plastic pop-ups. For those having trouble with the long water connection lines, just loop them and secure with a couple cable ties.

Great faucet with timeless design

Overall this faucet is great. The water flow is perfect, it's not too noisy and it offers a design that will never go out of style. My only complaint is that the piping that came with it is plastic. Wish it was metal for better durability. Looks like most of the insides of the faucet are also plastic. I hope it holds up.

Looks good...but that's it

We bought this faucet because of the looks of it. Neat design and it did not show water spotting, but.....from the beginning it had a drip just every so often from the faucet. Since it was so minor we decided to keep it. About 3wks. after installing it I went to get a towel from under the sink and it was wet. I discovered it was leaking from the built in hot water supply line where it connected to the faucet. Returned it to the store for a no hassle return ( thank you Lowe's) and bought a different faucet where I could put on my choice of supply lines.

Nice faucet but had to return it

Great looking faucet, but I should have paid more attention when ordering. The built-in feeder lines go through a center hole in the sink that needs to be about 3/4 of an inch in diameter. My 50-year-old sink had only a tiny hole in the center for the stopper rod so I could not use this. Naturally, I did not realize this until I got the old one off. That was entirely my fault and I am not basing my review on that. This is a great-looking faucet and the installation would have been a piece of cake. The supply lines are built in and very long, but you must have the correct "modern" male connectors on the inlet valves or be prepared to replace them or purchase some sort of adapter. While the outside of this faucet is all metal, the innards are plastic. I was a little concerned about over-tightening anything, but because I never installed it, I didn't run into that. I had installed a different brand faucet in another bathroom 3 months ago. It looked almost identical and cost exactly the same amount, but it had metal connectors. Because of the incompatibility with my sink, I ended up exchanging this one for another one of those (this was also a breeze- thanks Lowe's). I did have to buy supply lines for the other one. On the plus side, this faucet looks good, it's easy to operate and clean (no nooks and crannies) and it has a hot water limiter built in if you have small children. Includes plastic drain.
