The rug itself is excellent, I have had many safavieh rugs and would always recomend to anyone. However the color is nowhere near the tones in the pictures. Not even close. It is a brown and vomit green shade and it looks like it is muddy and dirty before it is even out of the package. It is too expensive to return here , I wish I bought it from **** so i could return it,. If you put ten spotlights and there was a solar flare,maybe..... maybe it would look like the pictures, which is the color I was hoping for.

I selected this rug without the knowledge that wool rugs shed. I loved the rug as a whole, but see that it takes a lot of work to keep it looking decent. When I first got it I scotch guarded the rug because of its light color, so I recommend anyone else to do the same.

Exactly as pictured. The rug is thick and soft. Unrolled almost flat, just the ends are slightly lifted after 16 hours. Rug looks fabulous on my hardwood floor. It's neither bold nor distracting but just right.

Color is brighter in person, than what in pictures

The quality of the carpet is great. The color is not true to its picture. I actually started the process of return, but the shipping fee is almost the same as the carpet price. I would recommend it for quality but not for correct color.

Nice Rug

This rug comes in a variety of beautiful colors and is very well made. I purchased the runner and it has held up well to a great deal of traffic.

HORRIBLE!

I bought 7 of these rugs in various sizes. The color is a dark mustard yellow with a taupe/beige design. The taupe color is uneven and just looks dirty. I vacuumed the 6x9 rug after unpackaging and it filled my large vacuum cannister! I emptied it and started again and it just kept filling up. There was gritty dust on the floor all around it. Now I have to arrange a return for 7 rugs just before the holidays. A first-world problem, but not what I expected from Penney's and spending $1000+.

Safavieh = Best quality and selection of wool Rugs

This rug is plush underfoot, it's a soft rust with soft gold highlights and it is that Safavieh quality which is my favorite brand because pricing is virtually unbeatable. I also purchased same patter in the oval shape, so my foyer leading to hallway has a nice flow. Feel great to walk on since we don't wear shoes indoors since COVID.

Incorrect description of wool rug

This rug is awful, not at all as pictured. The color is a brown or deep beige, when it is described and pictured as gold, and the shedding just would not stop. After one month, my husband and I took it to the Goodwill. I am still in the market for a gold rug. Complete waste of money.

Ugly colored rug

The rug color is really ugly. I should have listened to the reviews that state this. The rug color looks greenish, muddy, dirty. It does NOT look anything like the vibrant gold that is in the picture. I'm pretty upset about this as I will be returning and the cost to return is over $****. If you are looking for a pretty, bright colored rug, do not get this one. Very disappointed.

Update to my previous review. These rugs shed HORRIBLY and the ends fray easily - there does not seem to be any protective stitching on the ends - which I thought gave it a very warm and chic look, but now I hate it. I do not care for them as I did freshly unwrapped. Super disappointed. I can't imagine that's to be expected - I have others from this vendor and they are terrific and holding-up after a month as though they are brand new! Love love love these. For the price, they are outstanding. The color and patterns are vibrant and the quality is really good. I took off one star because the end of the runner are SLIGHTLY frayed in the corners on one side. I purchased two others in a different size and don't have that problem, so I'm assuming it's not supposed to be that way. It is barely noticeable and not worth returning. At any rate - love these and would buy them again. I was sold on this brand when I opened the packaging and smelled that rug smell.

I love the thickness and feel. Great quality, did not pill or shed. The gold color is darker in my space than the brightly-lit catalog photos suggest.

Color not as pictured. Brown mustard color.

The rug looks dirty. It is mustard color and not gold as pictured for the round 36.6 inch rug. Cost $**.** for a return shipping label which is about what I paid for it. Very disappointed and will not purchase from Overstock again.

Pattern blends in

The quality is nice, medium plushness. I did not end up liking the pattern, it just all blends in together can't really make out the pattern. It just looks kind of orange without out the design being distinguishable.

Rich colors

This rug was exactly like the picture! I have this rug in the entryway to my house and it sets the stage with its color, thickness, and richness! Safavieh has never disappointed me!!
