The chairs are beautiful! They're heavy and solid, which I love. I feel a bit of satisfaction when I pull the chair out to sit on it. The shade of wood is exactly what I wanted. I'm very proud of them and I plan to purchase two more in the future. They did arrive a little scuffed here and there, but nothing that can't be covered with a little Old English polish. It's okay! It adds character.

Returning

I purchased the mahogany color chairs. The picture shows a darker glossy color. What arrived is a very light mahogany that is not glossy at all.

They are heavy, sturdy build chairs. I think it's beech. Mine came lighter than on the photo. Seat is really comfortable and with hard foam, do not sink down easily. Really happy with purchase.

Had stools for a week only; but so far we like them. quality of stools excellent,comfy,arrived when they said they would.

nice product, horrible packing

The screws for assembly were just thrown in the box loose and gouged the seats during transit. Not little scratches, these were big gouges. I would have returned the chairs except I had unpacked and unwrapped the other chair parts and would have taken too much effort to re-package. A little more care to package the hardware would have ensured safe shipping.

Nice stools

These stools are nice and sturdy. They are assembled with the exception of the seat. The seat needs to be screwed onto the chair frame. It would have been nice if the manufacturer would have predrilled the holes for each of the 4 screws per stool seat so have your drill handy but overall a very nice product and easy to put together.

Cherry finish bar stools

These are beautiful bar stools, height is just right for our bar. The finish is a lot more "red" than I thought it would be, so I was somewhat disappointed in the color. One of the stools has an error on the shape of the seat as it curves to the back, thus allowing you to see the support it sits on. Just one of the stools was like this.

great product, quality fit and finish ...

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chair. I knew it was commercial grade, it is top quality, comes fully assembled except for the seat. Staining is as even as can be expected on manufactured and hardwood.I expect very many years of use by our kitchen counter.

Mismatched pieces

The stools arrived and were very well packaged although both had marks on the seats that need to be touched up. Upon installing the seat on the first stool I discovered that the unfinished tops of the legs were visible on each side of it so I had to stain them to make them less noticeable. Still, makes the stool look cheap. Didn't have this problem with the second stool though - the set covers the tops of the legs. Probably won't use them much as I've moved them to the basement.
