Great sturdy bar stools and nice quality!

I bought two of these over two years ago and they are great! Very sturdy and great quality. We just moved to a new house with a bigger breakfast bar so I ordered two more and they are just as nice as the first two. Highly recommend!

They have a few flaws, but I am pleased in general

I love the blue color and the overall style. They do have a bit of wobble once put together, even after trying it on different areas of the floor, but they feel sturdy enough. They were not too difficult to put together. Some reviews said the legs cracked easily during assembly, but we had no problems with that at all. One of the seat cushions did come with a big dent from where a leg was smashed into it during shipping and it hasn't fluffed back, so I'm afraid that might be permanent, but at least it's not highly visible. The seat heights are about an inch different from each other, as though one seat is thicker than the other, so they don't look uniform if being scrutinized too closely. Overall though, they are much more comfortable and nicer looking than the wooden bar stools I had before, and better priced than a lot of what I looked at. They have a few flaws, but I am pleased in general.

Disappointed poor workmanship

Two chairs arrived today. The only +ve comment is they were easy to put together with exception of a staple placed directly over a screw hole. Had to take the chair apart to find out what the issue was. These chairs are an example of you get what you pay for. I wished I had relied on the poor reviews and not wasted my money. The wood is not an espresso colour, more like a cherry wood stain. The staining is very poor as are the upholstery end finishing. Disappointed that Home Depot would sell such poor quality products. I recently bought two ceiling lights & the quality was excellent.

Torn

I'm torn to whether or not I would purchase again. I do love the color. I think it's worth what I paid for them. The first one went together well so I purchased three more. I had to modify two of the four to get them to work. The pieces I needed to have replaced are not available for replacement. If they all would have went together as well as the first I would given 5 stars. If they would have sent me replacement parts for the pieces that were defective I would have given a 4. All of that being said I gave the stools a three. These are not "forever" stools.

Price was good.

Chairs have already begun to sag where the seat is. One chair cannot be put together because the holes don't match up. My husband is trying to drill new holes to get the 3rd chair that we need for our island. If I had to do it over I would have chosen a pricier stool because, as they say, you get what you pay for.

High quality, Gorgeous bar stool chairs!

I purchased 3 of these bar stool chairs. East assembly. High quality. Look great! Only issue is with the color. They are a dark real blue, not the lighter ocean blue I expected. Luckily they match my curtains so I'm okay.

Bleh, they work for now

The screws were very difficult to match up to the pre-cut holes. At times I wondered if I was sent the wrong screws altogether. The wood is black, not brown as it looks in the pictures. But once I had them put together, they match the décor in my bar area quite nicely. They will work...for now. I am looking for a better quality true turquoise/blue barstool...this ain't it.

I would buy this again

I purchased three stools. On one the holes were not drilled in the seat angle bracket. Another did not have a hole drilled deep enough and also needed spacers to adjust the height of the legs. All were easy to fix. The price was good enough to put up with these minor inconveniences.

Exactly as described

You get exactly what's on the picture, so no surprises there. The stools look very nice in my kitchen and give it a pop of color I wanted. They are sturdy (if assembled right) and no additional material is needed, though I have to say the feet bars don't screw in as snugly as I would want them too, and after I tried to screw them tighter I chipped a small piece of wood (I glued it back), though I think it was my mistake to try to put too much force, after all the wood is not meant to be bent. Even with this little deficiency I believe its a great product in its price range, and hopefully will serve well long.

I'd definitely purchase again!

I was impressed that I received these chairs within 2 days of ordering with free shipping. I would have to say that the color of the chairs is more of a teal color and that was perfect for me. Assembly was not difficult although I had to replace the screws for the chair rails as they just didn't seem to work but other than that they went together pretty easily. They are sturdy and comfortable. You can't beat the price and they don't look cheap. I'm very happy with my purchase!

These are beautiful and perfectly suit my home and I love the style and comfort. However 2 out of the three were defective and have to be exchanged. The parts did not go together without splitting and there was damage to one of the legs. I am extremely disappointed and this is a major inconvenience!

Disappointed in final product

I was very excited upon first inspection of the stool. The color of the seat and back is a little darker than shown but still very nice. However, I had some trouble putting the pieces together. The wholes for the screws did not all line up and upon final tightening (which was not very tight!) the wood cracked on two legs. I have not tried to reconcile this yet and will modify my review after contacting Hayneedle. I bought 2 stools and have not tried to put the second one together yet. It's possible this was just one poorly made stool in a batch of excellent! Again, I will modify my review after putting together the 2nd stool.

so Comfortable

This chair came nicely packaged with no damage. I bought 2 chairs and they were easy to put together. I got them both done with minimal effort. I would suggest a power drill for the last 4 screws because although it came together, after sitting in them a few times they began to loosen. I tightened them with our electric drill and that seems to have secured them much better than my strength.
