[Rewarded Review] Nice metallic color, super sturdy

Beautiful metallic finish and very sturdy. It looks great in the room I put it in. It does scratch up easily and I think the nails are a little too long.

Comes apart too easily

I had this rod up with curtains and whenever I opened the curtains back and forth the rod pieces moved and extended further. Eventually the entire rod came down with the curtains. It almost happened again so I glued the rod pieces together so they would not slide anymore and no longer overextends, but is no longer adjustable. This rod needs a lock/latch to prevent overextension once it is up and loaded with curtains.

The surface of the rod already has little wear marks on the finish. I don’t have time to exchange it and will have to spray paint the finish at some point. Rod holder screws don’t hold rod securely in place and it slips past the rod holder on the end. It will have to do for now.

This is just fine. I don't think it is of great quality but it'll do. I saw another review mention that the screws are too small for the rod and that's true - the screws do not hold the rod in place so will have to find a solution for that. Overall, they are just meh.

HORRIBLE DESIGN. The rod does not stay in place in the brackets if you are adjusting or moving the curtains to open or close them. The tightening screws on the bracket does not hold the rod in place no matter how tight you make. Because I had already mounted the brackets, I was not going to unassemble and repack the rod. I had to use my own screws and make holes through each bracket into the rod to screw it in place.

I have to return it. Stuff like that is not good buying on line. You really do not know what you are getting.

looks nice but flawed design

These are very nice looking but the thinner part of the rod is not think enough for the screw to hold it in place at the top to keep the curtain in place when opening and closing the drapes. Too bad

The curtain rod is painted and parts of the black is faded.

Terrible

I am beyond disappointed with this item. They arrive completely beat up and scratched. Furthermore, they flex in the center. They without a doubt should have come with a third bracket to support the middle. Customer service was also not at all helpful. As a long time customer of BBB before they moved exclusively online, I'm super disappointed. I should have stuck with the first rods I got from ****.

Inconspicuous curtain rod

The finish looks good, and came well packaged with all necessary hardware. The included screws are philips and probably longer than they need to be. The brackets are stamped steel and fairly basic, although they include set screws to lock the rods in place. The finials are small enough that they can be left on while installing a window treatment with large enough grommets, but can be removed. At full extension the rod is relatively sturdy but I would have preferred a plastic reinforcement grommet on the large rod. Instructions are included but I didn't use them.
