The rug is good quality. It does shed, but with a rug like this, I expect it to. My only complaint is how it was shipped. It was folded in half and I don't prefer that. I will say the rug was able to lay flat after I let it settle.

This rug arrived with a horrific chemical smell which caused us to feel ill. Turns out the manufacturer uses mothballs on the rugs. Perigold assured me no chemicals are used, but mothballs are filled with chemicals and extremely toxic to humans and pets. We removed the rug from the home, but the horrible smell is lingering, unfortunately. Now we are forced to spend more time and more money fixing the smell issue in our home. Extremely disappointed and beyond inconvenienced.

It is beautiful. The color def reads more charcoal gray than black.

It's Not Wool!

It says it's a wool rug but it's 80% viscose and 20% cotton which is really annoying since I did the research to find a natural rug. It looks great but I am very particular about buying natural rugs.
