Safavieh is a good rug brand
I only purchase right from this brand. They always have great quality. You can simply tell from the structure. The only reason i gave this one four stars is because of the initial shedding. It eventually stops. It is a very soft a comfortable rug.

Great rug!
Purchased a 3x5 light gray rug for my home office. The color is true to the description. The rug is excellent quality. I have a rug pad underneath which makes it softer to walk on and holds it in place. Also, I love that it is super easy to vacuum.

TERRIBLE! Go Anywhere else
Great Brand
I've purchased several Safavieh rugs and they are always great. The quality is good and they last for years. I had this rug for 8 years and was able to sell it when I moved because it was in great condition.
first one arrived with “runs” like the loom skipped a row or two.replacement arrived with a stainshould be zero stars, but that was not an option
Rug will not lay down
These rugs will not lay flat and they get waves when walk them.
Not real thrilled w this rug. I followed instructions and reverse rolled it for 24 hours but still it doesn't lay flat. Wouldn't reorder another. My other wool rugs laid flat immediately but the backing on this is stiff and seems cheaply woven.
Extremely Poor quality
Several defects. Missing stitching along the edge and in the middle so the back of the rug shows through. The pile doesn't feel like rug material, more like something on a stuffed toy animal so it bunches up and doesn't lay flat. Returned immediately.

Love the color purple but this rug is very thin and keeps getting wrinkles. I've always had good luck with rugs by Safavieh but this one was a fail.
SAFAVIEH Handmade Himalaya Kaley rug
We are very pleased with this rug. I bought this in an 8' large round area rug a couple of years ago, it has held up really well. Therefore, we recently purchased this size in the same blue to add at the room's entryway to compliment the original rug larger rug.

the carpet runner is fine i ordered gray thinking it would be a gray gray it is a blue gray when light hits it almost looks blue
Love these purple wool rugs at such a low price!
I bought three of these wool rugs in different sizes for my long living room in a 1905 house in Bisbee AZ. Bisbee is a hippie town like SF was in the late 60s so bright colors are a must! They look perfect and feel great under my feet. The price is really low for wool rugs too!
