Not sturdy

This is not sturdy and I am just about ready to return it. I’ve had it for a year now and it does a good job with shading but it quickly falls over even with good weight on the base. Maybe I need to check out other base weight options

Nice umbrella, but it needs weights.

This is a well-built umbrella to a point. The umbrella part is nice with good canvas. The lights are a bonus. The only downside is it will not stand on its own without weights. You must have some sort of weight on the stand feet when the umbrella is fully open or it just tips forward. The metal used for the stand is very thin and cheap, so it just bends with any sort of weight added. For the price of under $200 it's still nice and sand bags aren't that hard to get to keep it upright.

Great patio umbrella! Easy to assemble and to open/close once in place. Love the shade coverage. Solar powered lights under the awning are an added bonus for night time hangouts. However, I am giving this 4 stars as the stand requires a base which is sold separately. We used extra paver stones which were a pain but work fine.

This umbrella is huge and really easy to put together. I did it myself in a few minutes. A few issues are- it needs weights on the bottom in order to stand up and not blow over. They don’t come with the umbrella. I had to put planters full of dirt on the bottom just to keep it from toppling over. I will have to buy them soon. Also there is a little plastic slidy thing you need to move to move up the umbrella height. It’s SO hard to slide. Other than those 2 things we love this umbrella for our back yard! Sturdy solar umbrella

This is as good of an umbrella as I’ve seen! It’s very large and has a solar panel that powers lights underneath the umbrella! It comes together fairly easily, although it would have been nice if they included a little wrench to tighten the bolts. You have to provide one yourself. But other than that, it’s a very sturdy umbrella. It does not come with a stand though. It will stand up on its own as is if you leave the umbrella closed. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the solar does not work on any of the 3 shades I purchased. Also, the lighting underneath is not bright at all. Plus, the umbrella requires it to be bolted down to concrete in order for the shade not to blow over. The material quality is good and it does provide shade, but it comes with cons. Misfortune for me.

Easy assembly

I assembled all by myself. Easy instructions, no issues. The solar lights are a nice touch but are rather dim and cast more of a white/blue light, not a warm light. Working great so far.

The umbrella fabric is good quality. The umbrella is too heavy and the base is flimsy so it toppled over unless u put additional weights to secure the base. The solar panel lights are weak at best. They don’t really illuminate. Almost a weak “glow in the dark” effect minus the glow.

Great umbrella!!

We have used our umbrella during the day while out by our pool. We have also loved using it during evening or night to have dinner as a family or ieafeful evening outside with shade. The LED lights are nice. It was easy to put together with my husband.

Great umbrella

Love this umbrella. So easy to assemble. The solar light is so nice. Called customer service about a question, they had my information already in the system! They were friendly, helpful and based in the USA! Great product and company!

Dirty and broken right out of box

box showed no issues. all packaging intact. opened it up to reveal the umbrella canopy had a huge dirt stain on it and the top of the canopy wasn't held on with anything but the wire to the solar panel when the umbrella was collapsed. that can't be right, so returning it. also, it pinched my finger and gave me a blood blister the first time I opened it.

Really not what I expected. This umbrella should come with a weighted stand it's a hazardous product without a heavy stand. The lights don't work and the unit just doesn't feel well built. We like the color but that's about it. I did secure the unit using 8 - 16x16x1.75 inch concrete blocks. cost $35. Just not worth sending back.

Great Umbrella

The umbrella has held up really well. Have never had any problems even on the windyest of days. My lights have quit working, don't know if it is on the solar part or the built in lights. I hope that it is still under warranty. Not sure on how to repair. The color has not faded at all.

Love the color (bright yellow)! Like so many other reviews, it’s very wobbly when it’s open and in the down position. Not at the stand, because I bought the weights, but the umbrella itself.

I did like the quality of the umbrella but the lights don’t work. They did work initially out of the box. Very bummed and trying to resolve the issue. Customer service tried to say it needs two full sun days on and off at night to conserve battery. I did read reviews about the lights not working and was trying to be optimistic.

Items sold are not as described

The description of this umbrella fails to mention it doesn't stand up on the stand included with the purchase. You'll need to purchase weights or a weighted base to hold it down. So, I chose to invest in a base that was described to fit all umbrellas. And it would have accommodated my umbrella had the threaded inserts not been installed in the holes of the umbrella base. The holes marked in green would have fit my umbrella base but the inserts are firmly lodged into other holes and cannot be relocated. When I contacted customer "support" they suggested two other bases I could purchase.

Very disappointed. While easy to assemble and nice to look at, the umbrella itself if poorly designed. One slight gust of wind and the shade part moves. And by moves, it moves A LOT. Quite dangerous actually considering it hits you and tilts so much. A slightly stronger gust of wind and it goes flying. We purchased 4 stand weights to put on the base and three times now it has blown over. The pole is now bent. We dont put it up with strong winds by any means so we are very disappointed that it moves that much. Lights also do not work. Do not recommend.
