Big Safety issues for gluing the heavy glass door!

This glass door has huge design defect which using the glue to attach the hard ware, raising very risky safety issue. I am going to return it! It wasted my time and money (ordering and delivery fees). I even paid the whole price for the contractor when he found out this door is not safe. This door Give me tremendous problems. I strongly suggest to recall this product! Don’t waste time, money and energy! Don’t buy!

To say misleading would be an understatement...

The manufacturer can respond all they want to the plethora of 1 star reviews complaining about their many units not having walls, saying the description clearly states its only a base and door.

VERY misleading it does NOT come with walls!!!

I highly suggest the manufacturer look up the definition of the word "kit" and I think they know very well they are being deceitful. Why? You won't see that anywhere as you're reading all of the details! It should be somewhere in bold print or obvious as you're reading the details but that's just being silly me...This is not a kit, it's a shower glass enclosure with a shower base. They know what they're doing misleading everyone...

Great Value

Got quotes from my local glass companies and they were 3 times higher than the OVE Pasadena Matte Black shower door I purchased from Lowes. The hardest part of the installation was waiting 24 hours for the silicone to dry in the hinge channel to bond the glass. Our home was built 20 years ago and never had a shower door. I was worried that I would run into problems with the opening being out of square, but there were plenty of adjustments for this. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a shower door. I was a little disappointed that the brackets for the included glass shelves were silver and not Matte Black to match the door frame and handle.

Not happy. One of the glass panels is 34 of an inch too short in width. Improvised with additional framing. Also, when anyone uses it, the bathroom is flooded. It was very disappointing after an expensive bathroom renovation.

Excellent Quality

This door was a game changer. It arrived damaged but i got it to work. This really set apart my shower appeal. It fit perfect. And the Home Depot customer service depart is by far the best experience ive had when it came to dealing with a Replacement and or a solution to the damaged shipment. Over all excellent experience and i will definitely return to Home Depot

The box with the instructions should have a label instructions this carton. The Through holes for the screws Should be oval to allow for minor adjustments when drilling through tile. finished product is as advertised.

Poor design-silicone not holding heavy glass door

Like many other 1 star review here, just poor design, with such a heavy glass door, just the sealant is not holding the glass door up, failing within an hour, lucky to notice it detaching before it falls to a million pieces like some poor user reviewed here. I think these guys are waiting for someone to finally actually get hurt and a million dollar law suit coming.

Very leaky

We tried all kinds of remedies to get the water to stay inside the shower. I asked Curt. Serv. for specific measurements for the door seal according to the manufacturer hoping that would help but they never responded. According to the site there is a 5 year warranty on shower doors. I was unable to complete the claim as it wouldn’t submit until a part of the form I couldn’t fill out was complete. We are out $1100 and have a crappy new shower that leaves our bath mat soaked when we step out.

The add is very misleading. You think your getting the whole shower kit but you don't. It doesn't come with the walk panels.

I love this door. It took my bathroom up a notch. I had it professional installed but I do not think it was that difficult to install. I have not had it a long time but as of now it functions great. Easy to open and close.

Size is labeled misleadingly

The width of the set is 24.8, 29, 32.8. We cannot even cover our 59 by 34 show space. The size is wrong labeled at all

The glass does not stay in the pivot on my third instal..fell amd broke my tile already. The oil rubbed bronze..is indeed not like the picture..its black..with minimal bronze accents..very disappointing. All amd all its garbage..but its too hard to return..amd too expensive to try another..lesson learned..stay away from this garbage

Waiting for answers

I must say the door is very high quality for the price. I can't say instructions and the way of securing of the door with silicone is high quality. I've had the silicone (the recommended GE silicone 2) curing for 4 days after my first attempt waiting just over 24hrs did not work. The second time the door began to separate on the top after being hung for a half hour I shimmed and waited 24hrs and it still didn't set so took off door. I have an email into Ove customer service because the wait time on the phone was over 1 hour. If I can get the door to seal and feel it is safe I would rate 5 stars until then can't give more then 1 star.

The listing did not adequately list the size of the enclosure. Of the 5 or 6 different places where size is mentioned only one lists that this enclosure is deeper than it is wide. Purchased it thinking that a 32-3/16 shower would be 32-3/16 in both directions. Had to replace it when front to back was a quarter inch too large for the existing tile bed.

Just what we were looking for in a shower door!

Installation was seamless, as per the instructions. Fit and finish is spot on - with one exception. Everything on this door is matte black, as per the description except for the magnetic seal strips, which are white. It would be even better if they were black. Doesn't take away from the function, obviously, but if I could change one thing that would be it. The magnets seal well. No leaks anywhere. Overall I would call it a great door for our new bathroom shower!

The design if this shower door is flawed. After a shower opening the door outward causes water to be dragged out onto the floor by the design of the door bottom seal. Also, the installation calls for drilling a hole in your shower base which can later become problematic with water leaking onto the subfloor. Outside of that it looks great. Use plenty of clear silicone in installation to seal seams and holes. Installation instructions are bare minimum.

I bought this for my basement bathroom because the price was good and it looked pretty good in the pictures. I was a bit worried that there were no reviews but I thought I’d take a chance. I’ve never installed a shower door before so I took my time and this went in without much fuss.

The door is beautiful and seems good quality. Only thing I didn’t like was that door glass is secured in hing hold by silicone (you provide) I used a high quality clear and let it sit two days, hing door, then realized is was sinking out of the frame. Fortunately caught it and pulled the whole thing out, used a different silicone and it worked fine. Recommend a high quality window and door silicone, not a clear. Hold is different.
