I received the Energizer LED Power Failure Night Light, Auto On/Off, Euro, White, 6pc Tray for my independent and honest review. Having frequent power outages, it didn't take long to be able to test the power failure aspect of this night light. During outage, the light kicked right on just as stated to provide a very nice bright light in our main walkway for everyone to be able to join together. The outage lasted 1 hour before being restored to power. It provided the same intense bright light the entire time without dimming or changing. I'm certain it would have lasted longer, but haven’t been able to time or test a longer duration. I like the flashlight and ambient light functions. The fact that you can take the unit out of the wall and fold the outlet plug down flat is great. This allows you to carry it in your pocket, purse, bags, or just about anywhere easily. I also like that the nightlight aspect of it doesn't shine straight down but all around providing a full light in a 180-degree range. It's also surprisingly bright but not too bright that it's overpowering to "wake you up" in the middle of the night should you need to get up for a second then need to go back to bed. The con would be that I wish you could change out the batteries when the batteries become bad. My other lights are the same way and after 5 years they wouldn't hold a charge. I can’t change their batteries either, and you have to replace the whole unit. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend purchasing this power failure night light. It works extremely well, providing just the right amount of light, and I love that you can use it as a flashlight as well.

My Best Travel Hack! After buying a couple of these for areas around the house where we needed a little bit of light during the night I went back and bought another to keep in my suitcase. Any time we go out of town I always put one of these Night Lights in the bathroom. Who likes to have to turn on the bright overhead light in the bathroom during the night?!? Not me. This night light provides just the right amount of brightness so you can do your business and not wake the whole room. I love the night light’s design and how it turns off during the day for energy efficiency and there is a flash light option if necessary which makes the light versatile. We have several throughout our house and always with us when we are traveling.

This Energizer power fail night light works very well and is versatile. There are two brightness levels on the main panel light and one brightness on the focused flashlight. I did a test on the battery operation and the light stayed lit for about 6 hours on the low level panel light. The brightness went down a little as time went on but it did stay lit for almost 6 hours. The photocell function works well and has some hysteresis to prevent the light from turning on and off rapidly like some of the less expensive models do.

This is a great product! It plugs directly into the wall to charge and has two modes: flashlight and night light. This is perfect for emergencies and every day use. A definite purchase for all!

A night light and flashlight together. Could it get better? Yep, it rechargeable and comes on/off automatically. Just plug it in. Energizer never fails to make life easier.

This power failure light is pretty neat, when the lights are off it acts as a nightlight which comes in handy because it’s pitch black in our kitchen and I’m constantly having to get up with our toddler in the middle of the night, so I appreciate that. Knock on wood we haven’t lost power yet, so I’m not too sure on how it holds up when there’s no power. As for a nightlight, it’s super bright, so I wouldn’t use it in a hallway that would be facing a bedroom because if you’re sensitive to light, it could keep you up at night.

This plugin night light can be used as a hand held light on a dim or bright mode for reading a book. It can also be used as a flashlight! And it simply plugs back into the wall to charge back up. What a fantastic idea! Not only is it helpful at night, but my kids love using it as a flashlight and shining the wall. lol

I love how this light has many functions! We have it in the living room currently and it’s very bright for nighttime. It may be too bright for a bedroom if you’re sensitive to light. If the power goes out, we know we have this to rely on as it kicks over to using the batteries. We also love how we can use it just as a flashlight as needed. This is a very heat product and we got it for free in exchange for our honest review. It uses electricity until the power goes out or you unplug it to use a nightlight, then it uses batteries. It has a long battery life as well.

This is a product I didn’t know I needed. It not only lights up when it’s plugged in to the wall but it can hold a charge in the event of a power outage. It can be a flashlight as well. The blades of the plug can be folded in when you use it as a flashlight. There’s also a low level and a high level for the light. What a well thought out product that I’m sure will come in handy during those pesky power outages.

It has 3 mode of light. 2 on the front and 1 above. It is also a night light, which can automatically turn off in the morning by its sensor. Work greats and I can use it to go outside to look for my cat in the dark whenever she run away😂

Perfect for 0.5 watt energy efficient nightlight

Wanted manual on/off switch versus automatic that draws energy even when light is off. Serves the purpose of providing sufficient nightlight so it's not completely dark while being energy efficient at 0.5 watt and color temperature is warm not white so won't disrupt sleep. Don't expect it to be a reading light though since that isn't its purpose. Using one for kitchen/living room and getting another for bathroom/bedroom.

Nice LED night light

This night light is brighter than my old light, I'm guessing it's because it's LED; however, it's a warm light, so not disruptive. I like the on/off button.

Perfect ...

Evidently, the 3rd time's a charm because I ordered this twice before but Target canceled both orders because it wasn't in stock (though their website said otherwise). But it was worth the wait because it's perfect. Gives just the right amount of light, and the manual push button makes it easy on, easy off.

Fantastic light

I really dislike bright lights when it’s bed time, and given that we operate on different schedules around my apartment (with only one light) this is just perfect. It is just enough light to use the bathroom without disturbing others. Highly recommend.

Nice switchable nightlight but too bright

I was glad to find a switchable nightlight. For an interior bathroom, the ones that turn on and off by themselves are useless. This one is nicely designed and easy to use. My only reason to reduce to 4 stars is that the LED light is too bright. Nightlights should have a softer color temperature: that bright blue-white is hard to take in the middle of the night when everything else is pitch dark. GE should do better!

Great for mothers with small babies

This night light is great. I got it for my bedroom that is about 20ftx15ft. And it is perfect lighting (not too dim to where I can’t see anything and not too bright to where I can’t sleep) it’s very helpful to be able to keep an eye on my 2 month old during the night since she sleeps in our bedroom, to pump milk in the middle of the night, and nurse. It’s a soft white. Not too yellow. I definitely recommend.

I would give five stars, they are lovely little units, however they emit a slightly audible hum, high-pitched. I suppose that's okay though, as they stay cool to the touch, and I worry about lights, heat, and electrical outlets, but I don't worry with these. I will keep, and probably order more once I am used to the hum. They give off a lighting range of about 6 feet, brightest on the wall. The hue is solidly between cool and warm, not more of either, which I like and is new.

Just the right brightness

Bright, without being harsh. Bought one for my 5 years old and 3 month old’s bedrooms as well and the hallway that leads to the master.

I'm super excited about the Automatic Light Sensing Plug-In LED Night Lights. I plugged one into the bathroom and one in the hallway. The auto ON/OFF Sensor is a amazing feature. When its dark, the night light comes on. As soon as there is light, the night light shuts off. The soft white standard night lights will give you the amount of light your looking for in a dark area of your home. Another great feature is that they only take up one outlet. Very well made product.

These nightlights provide a nice amount of light. They come in a 2-pack so I put one in our bathroom and one in my daughter's room. If I need to get up in the middle of the night they provide enough light to see but it's not overwhelmingly bright, so you don't have to worry about squinting from bright lights. They can be used right side up or upside down. They look nice too.
