Unusable in the office as the rubber bottom squeaks on any non-carpeted surface. Every time you shift in this “active chair” it sounds like you’re sitting on a whoopie cushion. Return requested me to pay shipping for a defective item making the return experience frustrating

Fully extended lower than a comfortable sitting height for a 6'1" male. Dropped down would be lower than some children would like it. Definitely though it would extend to a comfortable position. I will be returning because of that. Should have multiple options so taller people could have options.

I can't compare these to others. It does its job. I wish it was a bit taller for me (6'1") but then it would be easier for it to fall over or out from under you. I marked 4 stars, but maybe I'd think all active stools are 4 stars at best?

color and fabric look good. a foot rest is needed

At the lowest height, everything seems fine. At a higher height, it needs a foot rest as the seat does slide. The color and fabric are pretty. It looks exactly like what's shown on overstock.com. So I do appreciate that!

Awesome chair

We got this for use at a standing desk, and it works great! It has solid construction without being tremendously heavy.

Nice and simple

Functional but not comfortable

This stool is as described. This spins and adjusts easily. The height works well for standing or sitting. It feels very sturdy. The seat is not cushy it is rather stiff. The stool was very easy to assemble and arrived quickly.

This stool/chair is amazing! It's so comfy, lightweight, and great for my posture! I'm using it for my keyboard (piano), desk, and as an extra for when guests come over. One of my best purchases to date!

Too high for desk

Looks nice, but is too high for normal desk. Once assembled, it cannot be disassembled to easily & safely ship it back.

easy to assemble.... easy on the hip flexors.

I LOVE this chair. It took about 3 minutes to assemble and is perfect for my sit/stand desk, as it allows me to lean against it while having my hip flexors partially extended (instead of being bent all the time). It is easy to make it higher or lower too. Great investment

Exactly What I Was Looking For

Just what I wanted - something a little more "active" for sitting at my desk without going to an exercise ball. The height changes very easily and the small footprint is fantastic.

Great Home Office Stool

Not quite as active as I thought, but you can rock on the rubber base pretty well. The seat part is less... wobbly than I expected, but it is comfortable. Love that it is height adjustable, and the seat spins, and you can rock forward on the base for a more ergonomic posture. Overall very pleased.

Love this stool! Very sturdy and easy to put together. Works great for a taller height of my stand-up desk. The green color is a nice lime green. It does engage the core muscles, but isn't unsturdy like some of the other ergo stools.

perfect little stool for my less used desk

I was hesitant to order this because I was not sure how stable it would be, but I love everything about it. I have an old desk in a guest room that does not warrant a full sized desk chair due to the location. This was a perfect solution and it makes me (and everyone else) sit up straight because there is no back on it. And since it sits flat on the floor there are no marks on the carpet from casters.

Chair is a great quality but haven't read description properly so had to return. It was way too high even on lowest setting for someone 5'1".

high drafting/desk stool

I use this at my standing desk to partially sit on/lean on, so it serves its purpose. It does wobble, but it's made to do that. It's a nice looking stool, but the fabric is not smooth, which I'd prefer (it does not pill, though). This stool is rather inexpensively made, which I learned when I put it together, but it is easy to set up. I would get another just b/c it's a good height for a standing desk, but I would wait for the price to decrease or use a good discount coupon.
