Mixed Review Good and Bad
I am picky about my chair. This is my home office chair but I don't work from home so it doesn't see a lot of seat time. I found this chair very comfortable. I like to put my feet on the legs of the chair when I am sitting forward but if I swivel the lock for the rocking mechanism hits my leg and won't recline. My biggest complaint is the bottom cushion material is peeling and flaking. I have not had this happen on any of my other office chairs. Usually the armrests but this is on the front edge of the seat and along the side bolsters.
Beautiful and comfortable for those long work days
I do recommend this product. I have ling legs and like a deep seat. This chair has that and also a firm lumbar cushion making it a great chair for long work days. I also bought the assembly and I’m so glad I did. They were fast, efficient, and very clean. Highly recommend!
Awful!!!
I thought this would be similar to my decade old Serta because the black cloth version looks the same. Boy was I wrong! They and everyone else is out of cloth covered chairs, so I figured I'd settle for the discounted dark chestnut leather one. I didn't even realize that its a completely different chair than the black one! The lumbar support on the chestnut chair I received is shorter; it also pooches out from the back of the chair, so if you have hips or any kind of butt, it shoves you forward even when sitting straight. You can't lean back on it during a phone call either because it doesn't lean. I don't get the whole rocking "in motion" benefit - its only the seat portion and I'm not sure what they were going for. Overall, the chair has a huge profile but doesn't hold a very big person - it would need to be used by someone much smaller than me (5' 8", 160 lbs woman).

Frequently Asked Questions
What's important to look for in an ergonomic office chair?
Adjustability in height, lumbar support, armrests, and seat depth are key features to look for to ensure comfort and support.
How often should I replace my office chair?
Quality office chairs can last 7-10 years. Replace when wear affects comfort or if the chair no longer supports proper posture.
Can the material of an office chair impact comfort?
Yes, breathable materials like mesh offer comfort for long hours, while leather can provide durability and a classic look.
What are the ergonomic considerations for a home office desk and chair?
The desk height should be approximately 30 inches (76 cm), with enough space under the desk for your legs — at least 24 inches (61 cm) for a desk chair with legs. For a chair with castors, a clearance space of 28 inches (71 cm) from the desk's edge is recommended.
How much space is required for a comfortable desk chair?
A chair with legs needs around 28 inches (71 cm) from the nearest desk edge, while a swivel chair requires more space due to its mobility.
What is the ergonomic height for a desk chair?
The seat of a desk chair should be about 18 inches (46 cm) high, with adjustable armrests for lateral and height movement.
What are the key measurements for ergonomic furniture design?
Work surfaces should be about 36 inches (91 cm) high, with at least 8 inches (20 cm) of legroom under the work surface, and office chairs should provide 28 inches (71 cm) of space for legroom.
What ergonomic principles should I follow when setting up my home?
Furniture should match the user's body type, with work surfaces at a comfortable height (usually 36 inches for kitchen counters) and seating that supports a relaxed posture.
What are some effective ways to clean and maintain my furniture and rugs?
Use sticky lint rollers for picking up small debris, wet wipes for mark removal, and thin stockings over vacuum nozzles to clean hard-to-reach areas like LEGO pieces.
