I purchased this knife as a gift last Christmas, for our son ‘ daughter & spouses, I included myself in the group purchase. Everyone loves theirs & I reach for it very often no matter the chore. Trimming meat before cooking or after, I love this knife. Made a salad today cutting up a large head of romaine . Kept going w it, sliced radishes (small, but it works fine), dicing Avacados, slicing carrots etc. I plan to give it a wedding present.i do wish it came in a 10” or 11” as well!!

Ease up your prep!

What a great prep knife. If your budget only allows one great knife in the kitchen, this would be it. Nice all-around size easy to hold, precise, cutting, even when it’s as small as chopped garlic and or ginger. I love going back into the kitchen to cook because this knife has made it easier for me.

Amazing knives

I bought a Global knife on a whim a few months ago. It was so amazing I decided to by others. The serrated knife is extremely sharp and feels really good in my hand.

serrated knife-a must for my kitchen

This is an excellent knife. It feels good in the hand and works very well on a wide variety of foods that I carve--tomatoes, lemons, lox, others. I have other serrated knives but this one seems to work better.

The greatest tool for scoping the best cookies!

This is the only scope I use to get the perfect shaped cookie. I have it in 4 different sizes. Highly recommend this tool !

I never write reviews, but this is deserving of 5 STARS! Perfect size, weight, sturdy, sharp! Perfect all around utility knife for the kitchen. Love it so much I don't want to share in my household ;) Would buy again!

Firstly Global knives for me are the just the best.. well balanced, sharp, light and good looking. If you have never used before you will fall in love instantly.As for this knife, I bought a great set of 6 Global knives and block from Amazon, however the set was missing a carving knife.... so of course had to remedy that. This was the one I chose, and it, as expected, was great. Makes short work of your Sunday roast without ripping your carefully cooked meat Completes the set perfectly... dont dishwasher though... take care

gorgeous knife as all Globals are unfortunately the zip tie on the packaging was broken and a hundred to one it slid out cut me badly. totally not the sellers fault so your aware ok but obviously anyone who buys a knife over the net beware as for the seller bril on time perfect no issue with recommending them

Light, Balanced, Knife Perfected

I bought this to go with my chef knife. I'm really liking how it feels and slices. The serrated edges slice through bread with ease, tomatoes, no problem. It's a great utility knife.

Best Knife!

This my most favorite knife! It’s versitile, light in your hand and well balanced. The quality of steel is the best! Friends have cooked at my house and everyone remarks what a great knife it is when they use it! ( several have bought it after using it at my house !) Highly recommend!! Best Tip design Utility

The Wüsthof utility knife, critical in breakfast prep and lunch sandwich de-crusting, disappeared and needed to be replaced asap. The weakness with that knife was that the serrations started too far back, forcing the tip to do most of the work making it less than ideal for de-crusting.
